That’s right, Bo, Luke, Daisy, Boss Hogg, Uncle Jesse, Roscoe, Cooter and the gang are all here, exploding TNT arrows and all! British Officals: iPod was to be used in foiled terror plot

According to British officials, the recently foiled terror plot involving 21 British citizens of Pakistani origin who planned to bomb a series of U.S.-bound planes relied, in part, on the use of Apple’s iPods to detonate the devices. According to a CNN source, the explosives were to be disguised in bottles of a British version of a Gatorade-like sports drink, and detonated using either iPods or cell phones. The U.S. has raised the threat level to “RED (Severe)â€?... Read More

Apple (sort of) confirms Leopard will not run on G3 Macs

Posted by Dr. Macenstein Not that it should come as much of a surprise to anyone, but Apple may have made it semi-official that the next iteration of OSX (Leopard) will not support the “ancient” G3 processor. A posting over at the theappleblog notes that just after Monday’s WWDC Keynote speech, the Leopard Preview page listed a line of copy reading “From G3 to Xeon, from MacBook to Xserve, there is just one Leopard.â€? However, a day later, the line... Read More
