hi , it came to my notice about this nice product AW1 audioengine wireless.
i want to know if this can work with a PC(laptop), connected from my laptop to
my amplifire(steroe deck amplifire/receiver) that do not have a USB port.
I wish to listen to my music via my amplifire(receiver).

Nice review! I am enjoying using the AW1 as well, but I don’t have to worry about using them with white speakers. It’s a good thing that the A5 speakers have the AC power plug in the back, otherwise you would have to send these back and request a white pair of AW1 adapters!

Though it would be nice if they included two AC adapters, you can always pick up a cheap AC-USB adapter at http://www.dealextreme.com. Here’s a couple with standard 5v 1A output:

About half-way through your review I found myself needing to know the price immediately, because I wanted this thing. As you predicted, I think $149 is going to be a bit steep for most people. I’ve been casually looking for the right solution for wireless audio for years, and I think this would finally meet my wants and needs, but I won’t buy at $149.

Maybe when I get out of college and get a real job…
