Celebrity Mac Chick sighting: Amanda Bynes
You may know Amanda Bynes as the star of She’s All That or the 2007 movie adaptation of Hairspray (and if you DO, then you have my condolences). But to me she’ll always be the teen star of Nickelodeon’s The Amanda Show, which is probably why I feel a bit creepy ogling her now (although she’s apparently 22, I checked). Actually, for the record, I am ogling her iPod nano, if the Bride of Macenstein should ask.
Here we see Amanda working out in some sort of post-apocalyptic wasteland with her nano alongside some iPodless other person who is not getting nearly the same results.
Although the iPod cannot be seen in the following picture, I post it anyway because I find the scenery in the shot to be quite beautiful.

I guess I’ll take nerd patrol duty and point out that Amanda Bynes wasn’t in She’s All That, a movie starring Rachel Leigh Cook and Freddie Prinze Jr. Bynes was a player on All That, a Nickelodeon sketch comedy show for kids. She was basically to Nickelodeon what MIley Cyrus is now to Disney.
I’m too old to ever see “The Amanda Show,” so that doesn’t creep me out. The fact I’m old enough to be her father? Well, I can live with that, and I’ll just creep you out instead.

She’s probably best known for her MANY years as the star of WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOU, a WB teen sitcom that got away with more innuendo than most of it’s ilk, and despite her youngish age at the time, featured her in all sorts of provocative garb ( and had her body covered in chocolate in the credits of one season. )
Or so I’ve heard ( ahem! )
