Debunking the “Hot Naked Mac Girl With Apple Stickers All Over Her” myth
About once every 5 months or so, someone comes across the picture below of an insanely hot girl covered in Apple-related stickers, and submits it to Digg.
Now, as fans of Mac Chicks, we can obviously appreciate the appeal of this shot, however, as fans of REAL Mac Chicks, we also feel it is our duty to debunk a fake Mac Chick when we see one. To that end, we present you with the true origins of the “Hot Naked Mac Girl With Apple Stickers All Over Her”.
The original shot comes from the cover of the June 2006 issue of T3 Magazine.
As you can see, the model (Gabriela) was originally covered in stickers which read “Revealed”. It was the work of Deviant Art user lumac that replaced the stickers’ text with Apple-centric brand names. Lumac never gave credit to T3 for the original shot, which is in part why the idea that she is a Mac Chick who “suffered” for her love of the Mac (when all those stickers had to come off) has been perpetuated for the last 2 years.
Above: Lumac did a decent job trying to cut out the hair, but there is a definite “flat” edge where the T3 logo was removed.

my thought is that the original is fake as well – in that those stickers aren’t really on her, but just photoshopped in. Am I right Doc?

I was imagining her with an iPhone 3G on vibrate mode and whip cream then poof it all disappeared after realizing she’s not a Mac fan. Oh well she still is hot
