We’ve once again teamed up with our good friends over at Mimoco to bring you a feature we know everyone loves - The Free MIMOBOT of the week contest! In celebration of the release of Mimoco’s Series 4 Star Wars Mimobots, each week we’ll be offering you a chance to win a different 2 GB MIMOBOT from the series.


Which will it be? Pasty Gray Darth or young, tan Darth?

This week we are giving away a super cool Darth Vader Unmasked Mimobot. Featuring a removable helmet, the Vader Unmasked Mimobot comes in 2 flavors, and we have no idea which you’ll get. Will it be the newly scared, young Anakin, or the rarer pasty, old Return of the Jedi Vader? (Odds of pasty gray Darth are 1 in 6). Isn’t that exciting?


To Enter: Remember that big deal everyone made when Samuel L. Jackson (aka Mace Windu) requested a purple Lightsaber from George Lucas in order to appear in the films? No? Well, then you’re cooler than me. Anyway, to enter, simply tell us what color lightsaber YOU would want if you had your choice. Winner will be picked randomly. I could also use it to check the validity of driver’s licenses, check for odd stains on people and random hotel rooms, and make my awseome felt posters glow in the dark.     127. I’d have to go with a grey lightsaber to reflect my devotion to the dark side. Black would be too dark, it wouldn’t stand out against my dark robes, where as the grey blade would look menacing and be a different enough color to stand out.

    199. The lack of variety in lightsaber colors in the movies has always bugged me a little. So it was established in the original movie that there are red ones and blue ones. For whatever reason the Sith pick the red ones. Okay, fine.

    Then Luke comes in with a green lightsaber and it seems to indicate that they can be any danged color you want. Yet when the prequels come out everyone is just stuck on the blue and green. Except for the one purple one.

    Meh.

    I think an orange one would look pretty boss though.

    269. I would have Orange. I don’t care, orange is awesome, and it looks bad ass as a lightsaber. If you haven’t tried The Force Unleashed game, you can also get it with an imperfect lightsaber crystal, and it makes it look even more bad ass.

    280. Ideally I would like a plaid lightsaber, because let’s be honest, if there is a technology to make a beam of light at a fixed length, in any color, that can cut through anything - they can figure out how to make it fricken plaid.

    The downfall of the technology will be when people start applying cheesy wallpapers instead of flat colors, and replacing the default lightsaber sounds with downloaded “light-tones”. Those fights would be SOOOO annoying.

    If I heard hamster dance during a saber battle, I’m not sure if it would throw me off, or motivate me to a swift victory.
