He didn’t catch it because it was an old Mac. Note the CD slot in the front.

I can picture his boss returning his request for tech refresh stamped “DENIED”. The phone conversation probably started with, “remember that new MacBook Pro I asked for?”

He was looking at the ball all that time, he just had to reach out for it. I wouldn’t be much good catching it if came straight at me, but he just has to collect it. It’s coming straight down.

Imagine if he’d been bended over it typing and that ball hit him straight in the noggin. That would not have been good.

I could see myself catch a ball like that.
