“The 12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaway: Day 11 - iLuv iMM173 Dual Dock Alarm Clock for iPod/iPhone
This contest is closed. Congrats to faithful Macenstein reader Matthew.
On the Eleventh Day After Christmas, Macenstein gave to you (or, more accurately, gave you a chance to win…) a iLuv iMM173 Dual Dock Alarm Clock for iPod/iPhone!
If you’re anything like us, odds are you buy a new iPod or iPhone every 3 months, as well as a new iPod speaker system and alarm clock. And like us, your counter tops are now probably pretty much overrun with those speakers, clocks, and charging cables. Well, iLuv aims to at least cut that techno clutter in half with their kick-ass iLuv iMM173 Dual Dock Alarm Clock for iPod/iPhone . Boasting not one, but TWO iPod/iPhone charging stations, the iMM173 is pretty much the bee’s knees of iPod alarm clocks for any dual iPhone/iPod household. Check out the features:
· Powerful built-in speakers allow you to hear your music with depth and clarity
· Treble / Bass control
· Convenient remote control storage
· Large display; easy to read
· Auxiliary line input for any audio devices with 3.5mm jack
· LCD dimmer level control (11 steps)
iPhone / iPod
· Two iPod docks let you charge up to two iPod and/or iPhone at once
· Enjoy rich sound from your iPod / iPhone with jAura acoustic speaker technology
· Choose and play any one of two docked iPod / iPhone*
· Plays and charges your iPod / iPhone
· Integrated universal dock for your iPod / iPhone
Digital Dual Alarm Clock
· Digital clock display with dual alarm clock
· Easy to adjust DST (Daylight Saving Time) with a simple switch
· Time Sync function synchronizes time from your iPhone or iPod
· Wake to iPod / iPhone, FM radio, or buzzer
· Sleep to iPod / iPhone, FM radio
Radio
· FM stereo
· PLL tuning digital tuning technology
· Programmable presets for 8 radio stations
To enter: We’re pretty sure you’ll LOVE the iLuv almost as much as you love your Apple gear, after all, it lets you charge more than one Apple product at once. But we’ve got a “tough love” question for you. Leave us a comment telling us, if you could only own ONE Apple product, and have to use competing companies’ offerings for the others in your life, what Apple product would you choose to own? Could you live using a Windows PC if it meant you could have your iPhone? Could you get by with just your Mac if you had to use a Sansa MP3 player?
Winners will be picked randomly 7 days later and notified (kind of like in The Ring, only with less killing… we hope). Open to all readers world wide. Good luck, and thanks for reading Macenstein! (Oh, and be sure to enter ALL our “12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaways!)
Please note: Comments may take a while to show up, please do not double-post. Thanks!

As much as I’d hate to give up my iPhone, I’d choose my MacbookPro for sure. Android seems a decent enough alternative but I never want to go back to windows.
My MacBook.
I could “live” with other media players, phones, etc. But, having to rely on Windows or Linux would just leave me feeling empty and lost.
macbook, completely. iphone’s awesome, but my entire life is on my macbook.
My MacBook for sure.
iPhone
laptop
It’s like choosing your favorite child. I love them all in different ways. I’d still have to say my MacBook Pro. Couldn’t live without it.
Mac desktop, i could deal with a PC laptop and i know of a really cool japanese MP3 player i don’t really se apps so no real loss there
MacBook Pro
It was really hard to choose between the MacBook and the iPod Touch, but ultimately the Mac wins.
iMac.
Even though there’s not really anything that would replace my iPhone
Talk about Sophie’s Choice.
I guess if it came down to it, I’d have to choose my iMac over my iPhone. While I do boot into 7 for my Steam associated gaming pleasures, I think a large part of me would die if I had to give up OS X.
Macbook Pro ofc, working on windows is just ********
Oh come on…
That’s not fair….
Only one?!
Windows Computer is definetly a no-go…
So goodbye iPhone, I just need the MacBook Pro too much… :’-(
Definitely my Macbook Pro cause I’m a freelance Graphic Designer. I would give up my iPhone for a a Nokia N900 just cause I like to hack it
Macbook Pro
if you could only own ONE Apple product, and have to use competing companies’ offerings for the others in your life, what Apple product would you choose to own?
My MacBook Pro, but it’s so hard to leave my iPhone or my iPods away…
Could you live using a Windows PC if it meant you could have your iPhone?
I will, even if the Win is Vista… the problem would be syncing my Phone with it the way I do it with the Mac.
Could you get by with just your Mac if you had to use a Sansa MP3 player?
I could, but I would use the Mac as mp3 player and leave Sansa at home making friends with my Windows computer.
I’d have to go with my MacBook Pro, even though I’d really hate to let my iPhone go.
Just my Imac
Macbook Pro for sure
IPhone, though I’d hackintosh a PC if it was within the rules
iPhone, no contest.
probably need my mac, because i can deal with a regular phone most of the time. i just cant deal with the PC’s being idiotic anymore, im 20 years old and 22 years too old for that crap
My Macbook!!!!!!!
Never again, never again, will I go back to that searing pain!
I live on my iPhone, barely using the BlackBook or Mac Mini anymore. A Dell Mini 10 with HDMI out would do for a laptop/media server… I guess.
I’d give up my iPhone.
I’d have to stick with my MacBook Pro and sacrifice the rest
Man…if it weren’t for the hundreds of games/apps on my iPhone, it’d be a no-brainer to give it up to keep my MacBook Pro. I still give the edge to my MacBook Pro, as I remember how hellish it was when my computer was getting repaired and my company gave me a loaner ThinkPad. For an entire week. (shutters)
MacBook Pro 13″
macbook, better phone
iPhone. I use a PC at work and it’s a pathetic excuse for a machine. But outide of work, my iPhone, Linux, and web services should be sufficient without all the Microsoft taint.
I’d have to keep my MacBook Pro. As I work in media, I really can’t touch Windows. I suppose I could if I wanted to, but I detest Windows with such a passion due to it’s media handling. I could possibly replace my iPhone with the Nexus One when it’s available in Canada even though the iPhone is awesome and is literally in my hands about 25% of the day.
No! Don’t take away my Apples.
But I lived with SE phones and Sony Walkmen, so that leaves my iMac. I couldn’t exist without it. It’s what gets me paid.
My iMac is the center of my digital universe. IF I had to make a choice that would be it. Fortunately I don’t have to…
While I love my MacBook, I can’t say that I can manage without the iPhone.
My MacBook has my life on it, I can loose my iPhone and iMac but my MacBook is a must have!
My MacBook Pro - i’m sure there would be some discomfort syncing music or movies from an Android Phone through USB/Disk storage mode, but it’s better than clumsily trying to make linux or windows ‘work’ like os x.
MacBook Pro
Macbook pro..
Unless the iTablet is revealed.. then I’d probably choose that.
I will have to have my Ipod 6G… cant imagine using another thing to have music with me around on. I LOVE my music so there for I sacrifice all other apple products.
iSlate for me, or a real product : a Mac Pro with Cinema Display 30″
My desktop iMac, for sure.
Would have to keep my Macbook Pro. The core ideology of Apple has always been the computer. And i follow that
Definitely my MacBook. I can hardly live without my Touch, not so hardly without my Mighty Mouse, but my MacBook is like a piece of my life, I just can’t be without it.
MacBook Pro
macbook pro of course
My ibook.
MacBook Pro, for sure!
My MacBook Pro
My MacBook Pro… with my iPhone hidden inside its bag ;-).
my imac
My MacBook Pro
Of course my MacBook. No other!
MacBook Pro
no brainer: macbook pro
I will keep my MacBook Pro and swap the other things
I’d go for the iPhone, I can live with linux
I could give up my iPhone and live with Android (if I had to, of course), but I could never ever ever never ever never give up my Mac. I’ll never go back to Windows. Never say never, huh? pfff
While I LOVE my iPhone, I couldn’t survive without my iMac.
definitely my iphone 3gs! *loveit*
would it be a iphone 1st gen: then my MBP 15.4″
The IMac for me.
My iMac that’s for sure… no way i would be able to use Windows
MacBook Pro of course!
My MacbookPro
A Macbook
I would probably die without my iPhone but would die even quicker if I had to use Windows. So I’ll stick with my iMac.
15″ Macbook Pro. Everything else is gravy, but I do like me some gravy!
My macbook would be my choice…
Until Android gets a bit more mature, I could live with Windows 7 if I get to keep my iPhone 3GS
My Newton. This thing is rock solid
Wow, that is tough. I think I’d pick iPhone since it is a computer, phone, and music player all in one, but it is a very slim choice over a macbook.
Never giving up my iMac
Definitely MacBok Pro
My MacBook Pro…. easy.
my macbook I think.
MacBook Pro for sure….. I would just have to carry it more if I didn’t have the iPhone…
I would use my MacBook Pro. That’d give me the ability to keep using Windows, and I wouldn’t mind getting one of them Droids, anyway.
What a hard question! That said, at this point I think I’d have to keep my Powerbook, as much as it would hurt to lose the iPhone.
I would have to keep my MacBook Pro, but someone would have to pry my iPhone out of my desperately clutching fingers.
I would keep my macbook and use my Droid for everything else
I think I’d have to keep the Macbook Pro, even though I’d really miss my Ipod when I go running.
iMac
My iPhone for sure. Already use a Windows PC.
iMac
It would have to be a top of the line Mac Pro. Something I could upgrade to last a long time. I can’t do Windows man! I just can’t do it! Using Windows is torture, and I’m pretty sure violates the Geneva Convention!
i’d have to have a macbook pro
my Macbook!!!!
WIthout question, i would have to keep my imac.
As with at least 30 people above me, MacBook Pro.
keep my iphone
a MacBook Pro
iMac
macbook pro. without it, i don’t have a job.
That’s a really tough one, but I would have to say my iPhone. I can reluctantly live with a Windows laptop, but I used to have a BlackBerry, and I don’t think I could ever go back.
My MacBook Pro for sure, it just does everything.
I would keep my iPhone!
I don’t think I could live without my iPhone
Only one! What kind of a cruel world are you making us imagine!! As others said above, I really love my iPhone but if I had to choose one I would keep my MacBook Pro.
Macbook, hands down.
Travelling and falling asleep in strange places would be tough without my iPod, but possible.
Life would not be possible if I was forced to use only Windows.
iphone…..as i’m just getting into mac products
iphone…..so far my first mac product
MacBook Pro 17″
iPhone
My 15″ MacbookPro of course. I don’t own an iphone, just an ipod. And the ipod would be my #2 choice, but the Macbook is #1.
macbookpro hands down.
iPhone… but I could use PCs with hackintosh… right? Who am I kidding? It wouldn’t be the same x.x
MacBook Pro. I could restrict my music listening to when I was at my computer and I could certainly live without anymore phone calls.
I could never give up my iPhone right now. It has become too integrated into my life. Already, not by choice, have to use Windows PCs at work. I could live with that everywhere. But my iPhone lose? NOt a chance.
I’d have to keep my G5, soon to be replaced with a 27″ iMac or Mac Pro. I would truly miss my iPhone but after using Apple computers for almost 26 years now I could never go to a “PC”, NEVER!
My Macbook
MacBook Pro for sure. In fact, it’s about all I use, except for a bed, bathroom and fridge.
MacBook Pro. Love Mac OS X, can’t stand Windows
Oh i would have to keep my Macbook Pro couldn’t live with Windows
It’d be tough to give up the iMac, but I’d never give up my iPhone.
While I love my Mac, I really love my iPod Touch. I use a windows pc at work all day, so I’ll say bye bye to the mac but you can have my iPod Touch when you pry it from my cold dead hand!
Well I love my MacBook Pro and my iPhone equally, as all good parents should. So it comes down to which has the best fallback option, and I think I could live with a Droid or a Nexus One, so it would be bye bye iPhone.
Tough call; I believe I’d have to go with my iPhone 3GS. I could find a way to get by without my MacBook Pro & just the iPhone. So iPhone it is!
I’m gonna hate me for this but I have to say Macbook Pro… I love my iPhone but if I haven’t my MBP then I haven’t nothing on my iPhone… So my Macbook Pro!!
This hurts, but I think I’d actually give up my iPhone and iPod. Giving up my Macbook Pro and having to use Windows would irritate the mess out of me (and this is with the understanding Leopard OS is considered a product and I couldn’t build a hackintosh). Having to give up my iPhone I’d probably check out the google phone.
http://lifehacker.com/321913/build-a-hackintosh-mac-for-under-800
Definitely my MacBook. I love my iPhone, all the peripherals for the computer, even my classic iPod, but… when it all comes down to it, it’s all about OS X. No way am I going back to windows, even if it means giving up all the conveniences of my iPhone.
I’d rather go back to CDs if that’s what it takes to keep my Mac!
Wow, give up my iMac, my Apple TV or my iPhone 3GS? That’s just mean!
I’d have to stay with my iPhone if I could have only one… But it’d be a cruel world that would make me choose
my iPhone
That’s a really really really really tough one, because I like my Apple products for the way they integrate with each other… I think although it’s the youngest addition to the family, I wouldn’t want to give up my iPhone, because although it would take a lot of time and patience, I could probably live with a well (as well as can be anyway) configured windows than with a crappy not-so-nicely-thought-through smartphone.
And I would so definitely choose my MacBook Pro! Can’t stand Windows or Linux. But I had some decent non-Apple mobile Phones in the past besides my iPhone.
I think my iPhone. But don’t hold me to that.
I can not even fathom living without any of my Apple gear. Not gonna happen!
iBeer…
Macbook Pro, without a doubt! Love that thing!
I’d keep my iphone,
That would totally suck, but I’d have to say… My Macbook Pro
It would be a sad sad day, but I would have to keep my MacBook Pro. It is THE essential piece of my livelihood. As far as everything else, I would go back to my Razor and mixed cd’s.
iPhone
My MacBook Pro!
Go Canada!
Paul
My Macbook! I would hate to give up my iphone or ipod but there’s better alternatives to replace them than for the macbook.
I’d keep my iPhone. The closed nature of smartphones means one is stuck with what one gets from the manufacturer, whileyou can build and code to make your desktop computer do what you want.
Definitely couldn’t live without my macbook…
Mac Book Pro
My Mac desktop definitely… everything else is there pretty much to surf the web… by the desktop, that’s my workhorse.
Macbook pro. I’d miss the iPhone but it wouldn’t be worth it to have to suffer with an m$ OS.
My iMac.
MacPro
This is easy. I would hate to give up my iPhone or my 60 gig iPod, but I CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT my MBP. I use it to make and record music, edit video, maintain my website and browse the web. The less powerful processor in the iPhone just can’t manage what my portable computer does.
Take away my iPod, my Apple TV, even my iPhone but let me keep my mac!
it would have to be my iphone; couldn’t live without it. It’s like a 2nd child to me!
Oh, thats a hard one!
I love my iPod Touch but ALSO my Macbook Pro (13″, Aluminum)!
….
I would choose the Macbook, even if its a hard choice!!!
I could not live without my MacBook Pro. Putting up with all the issues my friends do on PC, just makes me sad that they won’t switch.
Or maybe iSlate if its everything is suppose to be!
My AWESOME MacPro for sure
iPhone, for sure.
Eh, my MacBook I think. Android’s coming along okay, I think I could handle it.
Wow, this is really tough.
I love my iPhone and use it for both work & play but I could do even more on my Macbook Pro at work, so Macbook Pro it is!
I’d also have to go with keeping the MBP. But no way in hell would I replace the iPod with a Zone.
It would have to be my MacBook Pro… I would miss the iphone but could not give up the laptop.
If I were only allowed to have one Apple product, i’d want the 27″ quad core iMac.
This thing is a monster and I can imagine being able to live with other companies’s stuff in other areas, if I knew that I would come home to my iMac every evening.
I couldn’t give up my MacBook Pro. As much as I love my iPod, my Mac is most important.
MacBook Pro 17″
iphone/ipod touch.
iPhone, I have to use a Windows PC at work. So I am use to crap. But going without the iPhone would really be hard and unbearable.
I will keep my iPod.
My Apple ear buds.
Definitely my iPhone. I could use Windows, but other phones suck compared to the iPhone.
I think I could do without my iPhone and iMac, but you’ll never pry my MacBook Pro away from me. Now, when it comes to Apple products that I wish existed, the 2010 edition of the Newton would be my favorite thing (maybe it’s the tablet?)
MacPro
Macbook Pro
Never anything but Mac. All else is worthless.
I cannot live without my MacBook.
Awesome product….. at least I’d like to say that if I win
I think I’d be giving up my MBP and keeping my iPhone!
I think I’d give up my ipod over my imac, but that is an ugly choice to have to make.
Macbook Pro
My Mac.
id give up my mac for my iPod… tried other mp3 players and hate them
I’d have to keep my Macbook. I could live with Android on my phone… But having to use windows on my laptop would just be a huge PITA.
Would definitely have to keep the MacBook Pro.
I would keep my MacBook over an iPhone. I love my iPhone but could get by with another phone…
Wow - that’s a tough question. I guess I could get another touchscreen phone, but it would be tough to give up my iPhone. On the other hand, there’s NO WAY I COULD EVER GO BACK TO WINDOWS!
That’s hard. Very hard. But knowing how frustrating my life was before my iPhone, it has to be an iPhone. I love my MacBook though.
I could not do without this MacBook
MacPro I am sick of PCs by the time I get home from my job and I could always get a google phone or a basic flip phone
I would totally own the mac Pro
The one product I would own from apple would be the IPhone. The Iphone would still give me my fix of apple products and I should be fine.
Oops. Forgot to read the question. I’d say my Macbook Pro. It’s what I have right now anyway and I’m happy with it.
MacBook Pro. Everything else falls into the gadget category, but the MBP is the center of my digital life.
MacBook Pro
I’d have to stick with my iMac over my iPhone. PCs drive me nuts. There are other great phones I could use.
I must keep the iPhone. It produces the only life changing experience.
I’d have to keep the Imac … but I might start have seizures from the iphone withdrawals
Hey Joe, what do you know, that would be my MacBook Pro.
Definitly my iPhone 3gs
I love my iPhone and my iSlate but my MacBook Pro wins the day.
Macbook pro. can’t live without it.
I’d keep my Mac Pro, Android seems tolerable
My MacBook
Definitly my macbook. Chrome crashes my Windows 7 pc
MacBook Pro for sure, mobile and OSX, switching to OSX is like going from dial up to cable internet. You can never go back.
Definitely my 17″ macbook pro. if i couldn’t use my ipod and needed to use an mp3 player then well, i guess i would just have to do without. couldn’t bring myself to use another mp3
Definitely the iMac. I could exist with a lesser phone, a diffeent media player, and maybe even without a laptop altogether. But I need to get stuff done, so I couldn’t sub out the iMac.
I couldn’t go back to using windows and I’ve never tried other OS’s, so I’d have to give up everything but my Macbook.
it would have to be a MacBook Pro, can’t give up OS X.
MacBook Pro. Hope I win one.
Thanks
I don’t think i could live without my iPhone.
It does almost everything for me.
There’s an app for that!!
Even though I’ve used my iPhone to handle a lot of the things that I used to do on my laptop (a ready-to-trade-up PBG4), I’d have to say, if I could only have one Apple device, it would have to be the … um … iTablet, at least the the one that I have designed for Apple in my fantasies, which would hit the sweet spot between the iPhone and the PB (or MBP). Short of that, I’d have to say that I’d reluctantly ditch the iPhone and then upgrade to a MBP. Oh what a cruel world it would be that you have us imagine to please your twisted minds!
iPhone
iMac
iMac
I could live with an Android phone (I wouldn’t want to but I could) but I couldn’t live with dual booting Windows and Linux again. Those were such dark days…
This is probably the hardest question I’ve ever had to answer. But I’d have to say my iPhone. It’s been indispensable on so many occasions it’s not even funny.
Macbook pro definetly
While I love my iPod, I think I’d pick the MacBook as top in my book!
my macbook
Thought about this for two seconds flat. The thing I use most at most times of the day is my iPhone. Can hook it up to itunes in xp or whatever but noflippinway am I giving up the first phone I’ve stuck to for more than seven months since I’ve been in the seventh grade. Been one and a half year & counting.
I guess I’d keep my iPhone. There’s no way to use Nokia again.
Windows PC is not great, but with windows 7 it’s ok. So I guess I can live without my iMac, as long as my ever ready iPhone stays.
MacBook Pro for sure
iPhone … another PC I can Hackint0sh it
I gotta keep the iphone
But does porting everything over to a hackintoshed netbook count as another apple product even though its a (cringe) dell?
It’d have to be my MacBook Pro. I can’t imagine being forced to use Windoze again. I wouldn’t mind an Android phone anyhow.
I would give up my iphone for my MacBook Pro as much as it would hurt…
Why must you torment me so with such dreadful thoughts?I guess I would have to say my MBP…No wait, my iPhone…No wait, my MBP…ARGGGGGGH! OK, OK…the MBP would have to stay. I guess I could get by with some other crappy phone that I will have to replace every 6 months. It’s hard to remember what life was like prior to June ‘07. I just recall the frustration of my Treo and the anticipation of the iPhone.
Juct couldn’t let go of the imac…………………maybe that will be an islate in a few weeks then I could have my cake and eat it to.
My white Macbook…
If I had to choose, I would choose my 24″ iMac. I depend upon that every day for most of my work. But, I’m not giving up my iPhone or MBP without a fight.
I simply could not live without my iPhone. I hated mobile phones until I put my hands on the iPhone. I could deal with linux and a regular old router.
MacBook Pro would be my choice, only to replace my 7 year old Powerbook
macbook pro.
No other laptop will ever be as good to me, and be as easy to work with as my mbp!
I have to stay with OSX, so ill keep my macbook
A hard choice, but I live with my IPHONE more, and have to use Windows computers for work anyhow.
MacPro 8 core for sure.
iPhone, I’m sad to say… No Logic 9 or Digital Performer for me otherwise!
My iMac for sure!
My Mac Pro 8-core
My Mac Book Pro, no question.
Gotta keep my Mac Pro! It’s a beast.
Macbook Pro for sure!
could live with an android phone not windows though
I am confident that Apple would solve the dilemma by offering a new product: a lifetime subscription to all of its latest hardware and software. Now that is the product I would pick.
I could never give up Gorignak. That’s what I call my Mac Pro, ’cause it rocks.
Macbook Pro
iphone
I love my iPhone, but could I have yet to see another laptop I like as much as my MacBook Pro. I’d have to keep my MacBook and get a droid.
Jeff
MacBook Pro. I spend entirely too much time on the internet and on my computer to not choose it. its going to be tough without an iPhone but i am starting to like the android phones. So that will have to do i guess.
I could not live without my iMac. I love my other gear but I have been a Mac guy since my 128k.
Ian
My iMac.
There’s NOOO way on Earth I would ever go back to Windows. I’d really miss my iPhone, but Windows is just out of the question for me.
Macbook Pro
If I had to use one Apple product the rest of my life, my iMac G4. I could live with a cheaper phone with better service, but NEVER will I use Windows day in and day out, AND be happy.
Without a doubt my MacBook.
My Apple TV. I already use “other companies” products for everything else.
I could live on a MacBook Pro to be sure. I can suffer any other torture Microsoft or Google profer as long as I have my MacBook Pro!
I use my MacPro the most right now so I would choose my MacPro.
My iPhone could be replaced (unhappily) with a basic phone and I wouldn’t have to pay AT&T as much $$$. My MacBook is a convenient portability thing, but not essential. My iPod could be replaced (again, unhappily) with a simple $10 thing that can be found in the grocery store checkout line.
MacBook Pro. I’ve had the same pre-pay phone and iRiver for years, but my MacBook Pro is where I treat myself.
My Macbook. Hate to give up my iphone though.
It would be hard to choose but I would go with my MBP (MacBook Pro) I don’t have an iPhone yet so thats my chose and i have to say to all Windows PC “SUCK IT” that is all. I hope I win
Macbook Pro, just like everyone else is saying. Android’s doable for sure, but I couldn’t make the switch for my primary OS to be Windows or Ubuntu.
MBP
It would be near impossible to pry my iPhone out of my hands, but there is no way I could ever go back to the crashtastic Windows environment after seeing how stable an Apple OS is. I would have to keep my MacBook Pro.
Although I love my iPhone & MBP, I’d have to go with the MBP as it brings in the cash to buy the toys like the iPhone.
It would have to be a Mac, I’d go crazy if Windows was the only thing I could use
iPhone it is.
I love my MacBook PRO, but I can’t go anywhere without my iPhone.
I couldn’t give up our family iMac.
Macbook Pro 15″ for sure…
My Mac Pro!
MacBook Pro .. definitely. Hands down. No questions asked.
Between my AppleTV, iPod Classic, iPod Touch, Apple keyboard, Mighty Mouse, Airport, and my Powerbook G4, it would have to be the top-notch Mac Pro I have yet to buy.
What? You didn’t say we have to already own it. I’m dying here gimping along with a 5-year old machine running top end apps like Aperture, Logic Pro, Guitar Rig, Photoshop, Modo, emulating windows to have access to a very stuttery AutoCAD… the list goes on.
Anyway, I figure I can get along with a third party player, my Alpine iDXA-100 will play anything with a file system, there are other viable streaming video content boxes out there, definitely other WiFi routers, other mice and keyboards, all of which are secondary to a FAST mac working environment, not to mention the ability to emulate windows with something like VMWare.
Someday I’ll have saved enough.
iMac i7 and any phone but Windows Mobile
iphone
I wouldnt be happy to go back to a windows computer but if I might have to for work anyways so I’ll choose to keep my ipod and lose my macbook
I’d keep my iMac and just never go out (so no need of the iPhone or macbook!).
There’s 12 inch of snow outside so this option is awfully attractive tonight!
definitely my macbook
As much as I love my iPhone … you’ll have to pry my MacBook out of my cold, dead hands. I can live with an Android phone; but I’m not ever going back to the hell that is a Windows computer for personal use.
iPhone … though I’d be dead of suicide after a few days of Windows-use.
I now have an iMac & iphone. If I had to go with one Apple product it would by a MacBook Pro. For the phone replacement, the Sonim XP3 FTW.
It’d be my MacBook Pro. I could do without an Apple desktop, phone or PDA (think iPod touch), but laptop, nope.
You can pry my Message Pad 2100 from my cold dead fingers…..
J/k, My trusty Unibody MBP survived a 3′ fall onto a ceramic tile airport floor with only a ding in the corner (which fared a lot better than my non-unibody MBP 2 years ago….), I’m not getting rid of it (until a new one comes out)!
I have a regular hum-drum phone and I do o.k.. I could (if I had to) live w/out the tuneage that my Classic Ipod provides. The very idea of going back to “Big Blue Screen of Death” is beyond wrong! It is “All” about me and my 13″ white iBook G4. My “wee one” and I do great things together.
Hmm. . . My Apple Newton keeps me organized, but my Quicktake helps me capture life’s special moments. . .
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_QuickTake
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newton_(platform)
My iMac… though I am hoping to replace it soon.
I could live with just an apple computer I could never go back to a pc
macbook pro
MacBook Pro.
my macbook pro i suppose
100% my macbook. Everything is on my macbook. Pictures, music, email, movies…..everything.
ave to be my iPhone. I can do darn near anything I need to in order to entertain myself on that. The interface is top notch, my 2G iPhone has great battery life and iTunes will run on Windows.
I have to use Windows at work so I could go back to windows at home if I couldn’t keep my Mini. I’d miss it some though…
MacBook Pro
I need my Macbook Pro. I guess I have to settle for my lowly Treo 650
I would be happy with my MBP. A phone is a phone.
I’d have to go with my current machine, the 2.8Ghz i7 quad-core iMac. I lived with a G4 Quicksilver for about nine years. Towards the end, it was hard to use the Quicksilver as a computer. Now–this iMac has a massive screen, an astonishing amount of power and a huge hard drive. I love my new iTouch and I’m sure I’d love the iPhone, but I still find the portable devices’ interface limiting, and the battery life is too brief. I could probably live with a top-of-the-line Android phone in place of the iTouch.
My iPhone for sure! I would miss my macbook pro but the iPhone is like a small computer anyway.
would have to be my mac pro,but that’s kind of like asking which parent you want to die first.
I’d keep my iPhone. I hardly ever touch my computer anymore. And everything i do is on the Web mostly.
mac osx… there are other phones
imac
I’d have to go with MacBook Pro… but if I went old school it’d have to be my Moleskin notebook, Apple should make one or brand-license one out, LOL - not that moleskin, get your head outta’ the gutter…
I’d have to keep my iPhone, that I cannot give away.
Today, I could not live without my iPhone. I could live, though it would bel living in “H” “E” double hockey sticks! I already live in the Windows world at work so but I use my iPhone virtually every minute of every day.
Of course, my white MacBook late 2006. It comes with me everywhere I go ^_^
I would have to go with Mac Pro
MacBook Pro - Looking forward to an iPhone but I guess I could live without it.
MacBook Pro
Mac Pro, because if I’m only gonna get one, it’s gonna be the best, and I spend way more time sitting in front of a Mac than any other activity but sleeping (maybe not even that). If I traveled more, I’d probably say MacBook Pro, but I could deal with an ultramobile with Win7 or Linux for short term portable needs.
Mac Pro!
Hmmm…I’d have to pick macbook. Don’t have an iphone & guess I could go without ipod. I can always “borrow” someone else apple product right?
iphone, can’t live without it now
I won’t give up my Macbook Pro! I won’t I won’t I won’t! Take my iPhone. Take my iPod. But please don’t make me use Windows ever again. Why would you want to do that to me? What have I done to hurt you and make you vengeful and hateful enough? Hit me, or cut me but Windows?!? That’s just wrong.
I was going to say my Mac Pro, but I think I have to go with OS X.
My iMac. Light, powerful, reliable, gorgeous. Absolutely perfect.
I’d keep my mac. =)
I would be very frustrated and annoyed without my iPod touch and Apple Tv but I would have to keep my Macbook Pro.
I’ve had my PowerMac G5 tower since 2003 and I wouldn’t use a brand new PC instead of it. Hey, it’s family.
I could probably rock the Nexus One, but don’t take my iMac.
Only 1 product would be my MacBook Pro. I can do the music if I need to on something else, but the WWW and email are the main issue
a maxed out Mac Pro
Macbook Pro!
My iPhone without a doubt!
My 13.3″ MacBook Pro is what I would want to keep above all other Apple products.
MacBook it’s my central hub
I’d have to go with my MacBook Pro. I guess I’d just have to get used to using a brown Zune and a Google Android phone. Oh, and Netgear routers and a Logitech keyboard and mouse…
MacBook Pro
my macbook
My iPhone would be very difficult to give up.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt, mine would be the earbuds that came with my iPod.
Would have to be my Macbook Pro…
i’d have to go with my Macbook Pro
My macbookpro for sure!
i’d have to say my macbook pro
Keeping my MacBookPro and stealing the wife’s iPhone!
My macbook pro!
Macbook Pro
It’s a tough question..but I would say I have to choose my iPhone..Why? It’s really simple..there’s no Competitor’s product yet that comes close on what the iPhone gives me in terms of user experience..Sure I’ll miss my Macbook but there’s always a hackintosh as an alternative..
My 8-Core Mac Pro with 18GB of RAM. I can’t wait to upgrade it to a 12-Core with 24 virtual cores this spring. (fingers crossed)
Only having one Apple product would be like a smoker only having one cigarette a week, or an alcoholic getting only one drink a week. I have to have my Apple “fixes” every day. Just lock me up in the psyco ward.
My Macbook
My Macbook definitely. I could maybe live with an Android phone instead of an iPhone, but a Windows PC instead if my Mac? Nope.
MacBook Pro
iPhone of course, I’d have to make due with Linux for everything else
As cool as the accessories are…it never once took me 2 hours to make a phone call on my Blackberry, or to load a song on an MP3 player. Every time I touch our (my husband’s) PC, I spend hours trying to fix it - viruses, spyware, toolbars, browser “helpers”….gahh!!!
So…I’d have to say my 12″ PowerMac G3. I do not ask for much. Just the luxury of never seeing Windows again.
It’s all about the lesser of 2 evils. I love my iMac and can’t stand Windows but a lot of programs run on Windows whereas I am never apart from my iPhone and all other phones just don’t come anywhere near what the iPhone is.
In this case, I would have to have an iPhone.
The Cube!
Love iLuve !
My 17 inch MBP is staying with me…
MacBook Pro
My macbook… without question
17″ MBP
My Newton! Just kidding… Apple made my favorite keyboard ever, the old ADB (remember that!?) Apple Extended Keyboard. Weighed a ton and had nice, clicky keys. Cost about $150! I’m sure I couldn’t use it today without all the scrollwheels, and dedicated buttons for music controls, Expose, etc. but it was a great product.
Keep the iPhone and find a way to use it as a computer by connecting bluetooth keyboard and magic mouse and display it on a lcd tv.
Got to go with my iPhone. It’s what I use most of the time anyway.
27″ Quad Core iMac w/ i7 processor…at least until the iSlate comes out.
I would keep my iPhone
Or else how the hell would I be able to use my iLuv iMM173 Dual Dock Alarm Clock when I win? (I could plug-in an ugly Zune but it wouldn’t look as cool
)
A gold-plated Mac-Book Air!!!
I would keep my iPhone
Or else how the hell would I be able to use my iLuv iMM173 Dual Dock Alarm Clock when I win? (I could plug-in an ugly Zune but it wouldn’t look as cool
) lol
The Apple Store!!! HAHA its got everything!
Mac-Mini
macbook
i want to keep the macbook pro. the rest I can live without.
Definitely would choose a macbook pro. The google nexus one seems an excellent alternative to my iPhone.
i would definitely keep my mac. i can live with android.
imac!
I would keep my iPhone and use a Linux/Window device…I already use Windows for work so I will survive. As for my phone, I can’t imagine using anything else other than the iphone!
I would keep my MacBookPro. Sorry - keyboard, iPhone, Mice, etc…
MacBook
I’d definitely keep my Mac, probably my MacBook Pro because it is portable even though my Mac Pro is more powerful. The main reason is that I am working in VFX/Video and going back to Windows would be a nightmare. For my phone, I’d get an Android for sure. It is the only platform that can hope to compete with the iPhone. If I wanted an extra MP3 players (because I have dozens of iPods!), I’d probably get a Zune HD and sync it with Parallels. The main thing about the Zune HD is the subscription model which is great.
My MacBook Pro. The only other apple product I have is an iPod Touch, but I’ve been using my lovely MBP longer.
My 17″ Macbook Pro. I don’t leave home without it.
I would definitely keep my MacBook Pro. I could live without everything else. Even… *sniff* my iPod.
A hard choice indeed, but i would pick a MacBookPro -or the MacTablet if only the rumors are true- due to the mobility issues, maybe I would pick a Nokia as a Smart Phone and a Nomad from Creative Labs as MP3 player. But still nothing beats the iPhone or the iPod period.
macbook pro
That’s a hard question. I almost want to say my MacBook Pro, but actually I can’t imagine life without my iPhone.
I think the iPhone it’s the one I would choose.. because it’s versatility with the apps and the software that every year comes better.. although ask me again when the slate appears
I’m gonna choose the Macbook Pro 15″ with the two graphic cards.. the iPhone it’s overrated.. -_-
I gotta go with my Mac Pro Quad 2.66. As others stated, there are some cell phones just as good as the iPhone.
My Apple Computer for sure I’d keep and live with the rest as others products.
My iMac 24 inches. I could live without the macbook and (oh boy) iPod. Tough choice between the iMac and iPod since only iPod syncs with iTunes.
My MacBook Pro…
My iPhone….I love my MacBook Pro, but if I couldn’t live without my iPhone…
i would def. go for an imac, even though giving up an iphone may make he cry… haha
A Mac Pro tower. I love my iPhone, but the desktop is still the center of my Apple universe.
MacBook Pro, without question.
Has anyone mentioned the MacBook Pro yet?
MacBook Pro… relying on PCs at work is enough to make me want to jump off a cliff.
MacBook Pro
like most, I couldn’t crawl back to a PC….I’m takin my MacBook Pro to the post-apocalyptic dark side
My MacBook Pro. College isn’t college without my Mac.
I’m keeping the MacBook Pro. I can cope with the rest. Take away my computer and substitute Bill Gates’ cr*p and I’d have to go Postal.
My MacBook Pro. I don’t think I could live having to use a PC every day at work.
iPhone .. the best thing that I have!
I could live with keeping my MacBook Pro if it meant giving up my iPod touch and using a Zune….okay, I don’t think I could do it, but you forced me into making the choice…
Definitely my iMac. I love my iPhone, but there are at least some good competitors out there for it now that I could make do with.
iMac
MBP all the way!
I would give it all up for a MacBook Pro
iPhone
Gotta go with iPhone.
my iPhone 3GS
A MacBook Pro 13″ . I’ll be satisfied with a 13″ one. I am a modest dude
i’ll keep my iPod Touch !!
if i get iLuv, i still can use it.
So, i want to keep my iPod Touch with me =D
THank you !!!
macbook
