Call me crazy, but I just can’t seem to get too excited about the latest Verizon iPhone rumor

(headlines via MacRumors)

Sure, eventually someone’s going to be right… but can’t we just wait for an official announcement?

  2. Last thursday when i was in the Applestore getting my new iPhone i was talking with the lovely girl about how ironic it was that in America everyone complains about being tied to one provider with little choice on tarrif, while over here in the UK we have 6 big providers to choose from with plenty of different packages from each.. and we complain that we’ve got far too much choice!

  4. WELL SAID!

I’m sick of these rumours. And also how Apple is looked badly upon for ATT being shit.

I’m a UK user so the news means nothing to me anyway.

  6. These rumors are making me sick.

I used to have a 3G under ATT, then paid the bill. Now I want to get into a family plan with my Dad and he prefers VZW. Overall, I would just love to have VZW, since in AZ they are better. But I really fucking hate how ATT is leaching off of Apple to stay liquid.

My gut is telling me two things: (1) it makes no sense to go to another carrier so soon after announcing a new model–look at the PPC to Intel transition, they had a Intel version years ready before the chip switch–and (2) if it actually happens, the pain of being burnt for not waiting will be as bad as being shot.

These rumors can just fuck off.

  10. whether or not the iPhone 4 makes it to Verizon or not the iPhone service problems
    are AT&T’s problem.
Apple puts out a nice product with cool features and AT&T is the one hampering the
    service.
I have been on Verizon and they are no picnic either. Verizon loves to lock down the
phones they sell and limit features that other providers have on the same phone model.

Which ever provider the iPhone is used on they need to work on their networks and
their service and stop taking away from the enjoyment of the iPhone.

Tell me what you're thinking...
