Robo-Steve reviewed – new model in the works

AP_PEL Steve Jobs

Hey, remember AP-PEL (aka “Steve”), the Apple-themed Robot from 3A Ashley Wood we told you about last September? Of course you do! You’ve memorized every post we’ve made. Well, someone actually bought one! TheFwoosh got their hands on one of the $200-$300 little guys and gave it a very in-depth review. Suffice it to say, if you think you want it based on the pictures, odds are you do, as it appears to be awesome. New since our last report is the super-cool iPad accessory, but I think my favorite feature is AP-PEL’s cool feet, which are somewhat reminiscent of Steve’s trademark sneakers.

If you missed out on that pre-order from September, you’re in luck. A slightly smaller version will be going on sale later this month, and if this model is any indication, it might be a decent investment. Currently these are fetching close to $500 on eBay.
