“There is something in the bathroom…” The iToilet

Faithful Macenstein reader Federico Frappi and his friend Valerio sent us these pics of the most beautiful toilet, er… media server, this side of the 1 Infinite Loop men’s room. Behold the “iToilet“.

“My friend Valerio and I came up with this really messed up idea when we found a toilet abandoned along a street“, write Federico, “the iToilet!“.

I’m sure they considered naming it the “iPoo“, but it’s been done. Besides, it’s really more of a “MacBook Poo” than an iPod. As if this isn’t geeky enough, Federico says the iToilet “is controlled by remote, it doesn’t have a screen, we use a VNC connection.” Nice. That’s one thing I hated about the iUrinal, no remote.

There’s more pics and a “making of” video after the jump (don’t worry, it’s a making of video of the iToilet, not…er… something else. Extra props go to them for using an 8GB iPhone to take all the pics, and iMovie to put together their “making of” masterpiece. It DOES look like they could have used a little more newspaper though, during the spray painting process. hopefully that was a neighbor’s patio they used.
