Watch a drunken Jeff Goldblum pitch the iMac
Move over “Cheeseburger-eating Hasselhoff“, there’s a new drunk in town!
What happens when you take the classic 1999 Jeff Goldblum iMac commercial and slow it down about 30 percent? You get a hilarious piece of footage capable of taking Goldblum’s kids away in any future custody battle!
This works particularly well because of Goldblum’s somewhat slurry speech pattern to begin with. Thanks to faithful Macenstein reader Jonathan for the link!

I laughed until I stopped (which was around midway at which point it became a bit belaboured). If I’d stopped downloading earlier I’d have found it even more hilarious.

Yeah it’s great, but what you don’t realize is that this is the actual speed it was recorded at, he WAS drunk. They sped the clip up for the commercial broadcast so he wouldn’t seem drunk!

Wow… i have to admit… i’m writing this response on my new macbook… and i also have to admit that i’m not very impressed thus far! this ad is funny as far as content goes but i’m sort of getting bothered by all of the “look what mac can do” b.s. like… “wow I can put pics and movies and whatever about myself up on the internet now!! omg! thanks Apple for changing the way we live our lives…” no… actually i’ve never even heard of whatever they were just talking about… but i DO know that there is something that’s not Mac specific and is propabaly the most popular communicative website in the world called FaceBook which Apple had no hand in creating… i guess i’m just getting tired about people who know shit all about anything pouring their love out for Apple products because its trendy….
