A Staten Island, NY rapist was caught earlier this week when his victim was able to pick him out of a lineup after stabbing him in the neck with her iPod charger.

Above: A two-pronged attack!

23-year-old Thomas Fields, who had committed two other rapes when he was a minor, was captured after initially escaping from police, and identified in part thanks to the marks left on his neck during his victim’s attempts to fight back during the attack.

“Sources [say]… the woman fought back during the rape by jabbing her iPod charger into Fields’ neck. He still bore two prong marks on the neck from the charger, the sources said.”

  2. Staten Island is in New York, part of the City of New York. Yes, it is geographically closer to New Jersey but it is still New York.

  6. So, she just happened to have her charger handy? She’s prepared and resourceful.

  10. It would have been great if she had one of the ‘defective’ iPhone chargers. Those prongs would have come right off, gone into his blood stream and lodged themselves in the rapist’s brain!
