Welcome to Macenstein’s“Mac Chick of the Month”. Each month we feature a different die-hard, Mac-loving girl who is (almost) as well designed as the Apple products they love. This month we present you with the lovely Kandice Melonakos, a California based singer/songwriter who is a true Mac Geek.

| “Kandice Melonakos began writing and singing her own songs in elementary school. A born entertainer, she began to explore performing as a ventriloquist and became certified as the youngest known auctioneer in the country that same year. During the next few years she performed as a ventriloquist at the Imperial Palace and Harrah’s in Las Vegas, at school assemblies, and for the Shari Lewis Memorial Tribute. Kandice was discovered by legendary dance music producer and media executive Tolga Katas who also happened to be a Mac developer. Katas saw ways to launch Kandice’s music career through Mac technology and began develop unique Mac software for this purpose.
Kandice was also an Internet-saavy, gadget-loving girl with software and technology fashion ideas of her own. For this reason and others, Tolga picked Kandice to be the showcase artist and model for his new technology and entertainment ventures. Kandice and her music are featured on the “Kandictionary,” KanTalk VoIP software, the KanTalk podcast on i-Tunes and more. Kandice is a software model (NOT a programmer) but she works with producers, musicians, software developers and technology execs on the following projects:

That’s funny and astute Phil! I laughed so hard that you figured that out. Kandice calls that “her most embarrassing moment” as a software model–learning that music plays when people rollover her behind. Her friends figured it out and posted it on her myspace and she didn’t even know. Tolga Katas (the programmer) hid Kandice music in different places in that software, not just the lower half of her body. Anyway, type in the word Tolga and see what the Kandictionary says. It’s cute.

Did you all knew that “Melonakos” is just like “Melonacos” (same pronounciation in Spanish) a Spanish Slang word used by young people to say “big pair of boobs”??
