Fans of the O.C. who didn’t commit suicide when the series ended now have reason to feel smug. O.C. creator Josh Schwartz has returned with what appears to be the “O.C. takes Manhattan“, in a new show called Gossip Girl. Based on the bestselling series of young-adult novels by Cecily von Ziegesar, this drama takes place in an affluent prep school in Manhattan’s Upper East Side where the students “find themselves with the money, access, and appetite to explore all of the temptations New York City has to offer.”
Wow.
Let’s just hope they don’t experience The Naked Cowboy.
