As we all know– the Motorola ROKR is a huge disappointment. Rumor has it that Jonathan Ive has taken control of product development and we should expect to see a real iPhone early 2006. Our sources tell us to expect the iPhone to look more like the latest offerings from NEC than those from Motorola (read Razr)..

EDIT September 30th, 2005 It seems Motorola is now publicly admitting their suspicions that an Apple-made smartphone is on the way.
