Current generation refurbished iPods nanos hit the Apple Store
Those of you who do not fear refurbs may be interested in knowing that Apple has begun selling refurbished current generation 8GB iPod nano for only $169. The 4 GB is only $129. Both models have free shipping. Not bad.
All Apple-certified refurbished products:
· Undergo a stringent refurbishment process prior to being offered for sale
· Perform and look like new Apple products
· Come in new packaging and include all manuals and accessories, nothing is missing
· Are covered by Apple’s standard one-year limited warranty — the exact same as a new product
· Are eligible for AppleCare extended coverage for up to 2 years of world-class support on iPhone, iPod and Apple TV (up to 3 years on Mac)
Of course, Apple also has previous generation “regular” Refurbished iPods as well.
If you don’t care about having the U2 edition (is there even a difference?), the same previous generation 30GB iPods are only $179.00 in the “clearance items” section of the Apple Store.
New, refurbished, whatever. These are beautiful machines that are W-A-Y overpriced. It may be fair for what it costs to make them, but at 15 to 20 times the cost of a gigabyte compared to a classic, this is still for for suckers.
But it is sexy, even in those easter egg colors.
