Pretend you’re cool with the Leopard Server Blue Aurora Wallpaper
Not available in any stores! (Well, actually I guess it IS…) Deviant Art user jawnx108 has posted the default desktop background found in OS X Leopard Server 10.5 for all to download (we’re taking his word for it, as we don’t have Leopard Server handy). Now you can impress your friends by showing off your Leopard Server background on your regular old Client copy (so long as you first explain to them what it is). In our humble opinion, the Default Blue Aurora Wallpaper is a major step up from the multi-colored starfield that ships with the client version of the OS, much less distracting, and more “desktop-like”. Sure, you could have made your own with a simple “colorize” in Photoshop, but isn’t it better to know you have the Apple-sanctioned blue? Get yours now while supplies last!
Thanks to faithful Macenstein reader Rowlings for the tip!
Here’s a direct link since it’s not so obvious on the DA site:
I never noticed the difference, but now I do.
How odd.
Haha I was wondering why I had soooooo many downloads of it lately.
Ha no wonder I’ve been getting lots of hits lately.
Glad you like, I use it as my default also it’s way easier on the eyes.
