Boy, they sure do love their Steve at Apple
Faithful Macenstein reader Andrea came across a bit of sycophantic praise of the almighty Steve while cruising Apple’s site today:
Download the pic of Steve chargin up the masses at this page and look at the name of the file! http://events.apple.com.edgesuite.net/rtp20e92/event/index.html?internal=fj2l3s9dm
Not that I haven’t thought the same thing, mind you… (I’ll let you download and discover it for yourself.)
Sorry to disappoint you guys, but it seems like a standard naming convention on their site.
That, or they worship quicktime (and every other image on the page) just as much as His Steveness.
To follow on from that, a simple google image search finds almost 400 images on their site that fit in with your claims of worshipping
Hey Eugene,
I know, it doesn’t disappoint me. The term “hero” shot applies to the best shot of something. Just thought it was funny.
Gotta find a way to make those tags BIGGER…
-The Doc
huh??? i don’t get it, is fj2l3s9dm some sortta code the world started using overnight to mean “we love steve jobs and worship him”? Maybe im just hugely overlooking something, but what part of this filename is supposed to mean anything? It’s the same random identifiers that YouTube uses so YouTube worships SJ as well?

hey guys, the doc is referring to this image. not the actual quicktime page
@wha, you’re looking at the URL. If you go to the site and look at the name of the image on the site, you’ll see what they’re talking about.
Why visit Apple’s site when the same image with the same name is posted above on this page itself!
ahha this made me laugh so much…well not as much as the the Swiss iPhone story…i remember noticing this in the past, finding oddly praising image titles. would be so funny is a pic was found of Steve entitled ‘angry bastard’!
