There’s an Apple in the House! Or two, or three… hard to tell.
I’ve heard nothing but good things about FOX’s House, yet for some reason I’ve never felt compelled to put forth the effort of adding it to my DVR’s schedule. However, according to faithful Macenstein reader Phil, apparently I should, as it is pretty much a commercial for Apple’s computers and gear, with episode 10 of season 4 being particularly Apple-whoreish.
WHATS UP Macenstein,
A buddy of mine recently got me hooked on House, so naturally I’ve been going through it season by season. Having now reached season 4 and its 2 in the morning, I have come to this assumption, the House crew are huge Apple guys. In a previous episode I saw an iPhone, but in the last 2 minutes of this episode there has been an oldschool iBook (which house sucks at hacking, i was screaming at the screen to restart with apple+s) and what looked like a Powerbook g4 or maybe a macbook pro. Anyway, I took a few screenshots of House with his new iPhone, thought of you guys immediately. You rock!

No, Phil, YOU rock! And apparently so does House. Thanks!
Nice find and he is actually holding it right way up! However, this is becoming painful. Everybody taunting us Australians with these beautiful devices. C’mon Apple, spread the good stuff down under!
(I may have to start watching House. :P)
It’s true, House is full of Apple hardware. I think it was season 3 where you could spot the iPod Hi-Fi every once in a while.
Funny thing is, the show is produced by NBC who DON’T like Apple enough to sell House through iTunes but DO like them enough to showcase their products on a nationwide scale. I don’t get it.
Likewise: I just rented “I Am Legend” and was happy to see Apple hardware all over the screen as well. (Gotta get me a pair of those bluetooth iSight camera glasses though. Could be very handy. I am 99.9% certain they don’t exist, but if somebody knows something I don’t, send me an email.)
House likes geek toys in general. He’s also played with a Gameboy Advance SP, a Sony PlayStation Portable and a Nintendo DS.
Though it doesn’t matter in the slightest, the iPhone is actually Wilson’s, which Greg “borrows” and gives to himself as a gift to mess with the team’s minds.
Yea I noticed that right after I took the screenshots but the email was already sent to didn’t worry about it lol
Apple Cinema Displays are all over the set…oh, and the “cut throat bitch” also has an iPhone too. FYI.
