Is Apple even looking at the iApps before listing them?
Take a look at this iApp, called “Hold On“. Let’s ignore the fact that there’s a good argument it really shouldn’t even have been allowed on the iApp store in the first place – can anyone make the argument that it should be listed under “Productivity“?
I’ll assume IMAK Creations was being ironic when they submitted it to the iApp store, but where’s Apple’s Q/C? Were they in that big a rush to hit 500 apps for launch day?
Yeah, real productive.
What the hell are iApps and the iApp store? To me iAppls sounds like iLife, not iPhone applications from the App Store.
Someone at Apple has a sense of humor, just like the rest of us.
500 APPS
============================================
350 BULLSHIT APPS
50 VERY EXPENSIVE APPS
50 WHAT IS APPS
50 DECENT APPS
============================================
this is my view, so Apple lunch the app store with 50 apps not 500 😉
I wasn’t impressed with the opening day’s apps, but there were a few good ones. I’d like to see more demos before I plunk down cash on an app that I can’t return. However, all in all they did good for opening day. Imagine how many apps we will see in 30 days or in 6 months from now.
