“The 12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaway: Day 2
[Thank you – we have our winner, this contest is now closed. Congrats to faithful Macenstein reader Adam!]
On the Second Day After Christmas, Macenstein gave to you (or, more accurately, gave you a chance to win…) A pair of Creative EP-830 Earphones!
Do you hear what I hear? Well, you might, once you pop these bad boys into your ears! Ergonomically designed with 3 differently-sized earbuds to accommodate any ear (assuming you’ve never worked in a circus sideshow), these in-ear earphones offers extra comfort and excellent noise-isolation capability for your music listening pleasure.
To enter: Well, I’m always looking to broaden my musical tastes a bit, so since this is an audio-related giveaway, leave me a comment where you tell me the one song I should be listening to, in your opinion. Winner will be picked randomly 7 days later and notified (kind of like in The Ring, only with less killing… we hope). Open to all readers world-wide. Good luck, and thanks for reading Macenstein! (Oh, and be sure to enter ALL our “12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaways!)
Please note: Comments may take a while to show up, please do not double-post. Thanks!

Mack the Knife – Ella Fitzgerald from Live in Berlin. There’s nothing like hearing one of the top jazz singers (ever) totally screw up a song. And it’s all live on tape, while she laughs at herself the whole time. Priceless…

’nuff said.
Too Drunk To F*** – Nouvelle Vague
No, really. It’s a lot of fun, but it’s also a good tune.
If you want to go back a bit, “Talk To Ya Later” by The Tubes is the best of everything from the 70’s and early eighties. An amazing amalgam of guitar rock, glam, power pop, punk, arena wall-of-sound, and performance art, this is a hard-driving, clever song. You’ll enjoy the cynical lyrics, love the screaming guitar solo, and – after digging deeper, get blown away by the bass line. Crank it up and hold on tight.
21st Century Schizoid Man – King Crimson
Great prog-rock from a great album.
Muse – Supermassive Black Hole
Feed The Light by Joan As Police Woman. Thanks, Doc!
