    I am old enough (can’t believe I just said that) to remember Windows (as well as Apple and Macs… and Commodore 64 and TRS-80 and VIC-20… please put me out of my misery…) from the beginning . I actually know how to make scripts for DOS which is very powerful for modifying large number of files (I realize that Unix can do the same, but I haven’t taken a dip in that pool yet). Wait, is that still Windows…? At least Windows XP still has a DOS command.

    being a desktop support person for a large corporation. Windows makes me want to quit my job. I miss the days of supporting an all Mac company.

    Windows is a good tool for corporate work, and many new games. It is good to have in your toolbox. The right toool for the right job makes the job easier. I love my MAC, but I also have a need for Windows.

    Windows allows me to run Sound Forge, and that is the best audio editing software out there. I love video editing software and DAWs on OS X, but Sound Forge is the one thing I could not replace with a Mac program.

    oh geez; i guess windows has been around a long time and they do make the best software in the world and their computers are simply awesome, amazing, divine, heavenly, dreamy, outstanding, delicious, did i say amazing already.

    I still use XP… I have heard Win & is pretty good…

    I like windows since windows 7 appeared… It is SO MUCH BETTER than with VISTA!!!! (and for the macfan in all of us: because they inspire themselves *to keep it positive* from the best (AAPL!).

    Windows, from version to version, continues to add a whole bunch of new useful technologies under the hood, that although many people are unaware of them, they get to enjoy their outcomes. Example: BitLocker and BitLockerToGo in windows 7 that allows drive encryption from local to usb drives.
