“The 12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaway: Day 5 – Realmac Software bundle
On the Fifth Day After Christmas, Macenstein gave to you (or, more accurately, gave you a chance to win…) A Realmac Software bundle featuring your very own copies of RapidWeaver, LittleSnapper, and Socialite!

RapidWeaver is so full of awesomeness, you should really check out all its features.
First up is RapidWeaver, the web design app that will have you looking like a pro in no time, or, if you already are a pro, having you looking pretty much the same, but with more free time. With 40 built-in templates, 10 page types, and tons of plug-ins, you’ll be cranking out Photo albums from your iPhoto library, blogs, flash slideshows, podcasts and more in a matter of minutes, and the sites not only won’t suck, they’ll actually look like you knew what you were doing! RapidWeaver was built for Leopard and has a slick interface and tons of cool features like built-in Google Analytics support, favicon creation, one-click publishing (even to MobileMe), and a robust user community of over 23,000 members and growing. Even if you don’t win you should download the free 30 day trial here and check it out, it really is quite slick.

Next we have LittleSnapper. Don’t let the name fool you, LittleSnapper is big on features, and if you are looking for a better way to grab snapshots of webpages, your desktop, or pretty much anything, odds are LittleSnapper has got you covered. LittleSnapper not only lets you snap pages or page elements (sort of like Safari’s webclips) but it also allows you to build a library of your snaps for latter viewing or editing. You can make non-destructive annotations, share snaps with friends and clients via Flickr or FTP. One of my personal favorite features of LittleSnapper is it can take a shot of an entire webpage, even parts that are off the screen, so I no longer have to do stitching in Photoshop.

Finally we have Socialite, a beautiful Mac OS X application, designed to make it easy to stay in touch with the social networks and services that matter to you. From news on Digg, photos on Flickr, statuses and photos on Facebook and Twitter updates, to full Google Reader RSS syncing, Socialite keeps all your social networks in one convenient place.
To enter: Since RapidWeaver, LittleSnapper and Socialite are all about wasting your time on the web, simply tell us what is your current biggest/favorite time waster right now? (It doesn’t necessarily have to be on the web) Winners will be picked randomly 7 days later and notified (kind of like in The Ring, only with less killing… we hope). Open to all readers world-wide. Good luck, and thanks for reading Macenstein! (Oh, and be sure to enter ALL our “12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaways!)
Please note: Comments may take a while to show up, please do not double-post. Thanks!
not a waste to me (but probably to others in my house) — playing my PS3 or surfing the web on my Macbook.
How i met your mother, mentalist, southpark, family guy, american dad and mila mou vromika!!!!
waste plenty of time on my Xbox 360 ><
Playing doodle jump on my iPhone. Damn what a waste
of time. 🙂
watching House M.D.!
Watching Youtube in the breaks between classes
Hmm, let’s see… for me it would be wasting time on geeky social networking sites like Digg and Reddit. It doesn’t always turn out to be a time-waster as I do find and learn about some interesting stuff, but it does take a hefty chunk out of my day.
twitter! 😀 and TV.
Television and the Internet probably account for 90% of my wasted time.
Canabalt is my time-waster of choice as of late…I’m determined to beat it!! 😉
watching dvds
the warm glow of the interweb’s warming glow
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Definitely reading all the blogs – however, my wife spends too much time in Farmville!
My biggest time waster lately has been the iPhone and rearranging all it’s apps
RTS’s.
I don’t know why, but they kill my motivation to do anything else.
games on my iphone…well anything on my iphone really.
Reading. Everything. There are just too many good books out there.
Playing MMOs
Facebook!
Biggest time waster: digg.com
Xbox 360!
If I’m at work though… Facebook
Facebooks Zynga Texas Holdem
My Dreamcast. 🙂 Kickin it old school.
Breaking down NBA statistics.
Someone has to say it: Slashdot.org
My biggest time waster is a cross between Modern Warfare 2 & looking for a job. I spend hours doing both. Unfortunatly it seems that, out of the two I’ve only made any headway in Modern Warefare 2, and not finding a job.
Facebook, without a doubt.
Surfing the web to find sites like macenstein, that give away stuff, that makes it more fun wasting my time on the web ;-P
Updating Twitter. Abysmal.
Anything resembling LOL Cats…anything.
Netflix instant movies.
Reading tech news
Joining useless groups in Flickr!
My biggest time waster is now programming for the iPhone. I sure hope I get some cash for all the time I’m putting into it!
reading and WoW
Easy, playing “Castle Age” on Facebook! 🙂
Jewels. It’s always been one of those ‘I know I can do better’ time waster games. Sad fact is, it’s random. Better is only a bit of lucky…
Twitter, have to fight to stop checking it
Reading Macenstein!
Team Fortress 2… It was on sale!
Bejewelled Blitz
my 360 and borderlands…
Learning how to use the Unity 3D game engine.
My biggest time waster (and it’s the best) is teaching my 19 month old new vocabulary and working on the fine motor skills with LEGO’s and the sort. Nothing better than being in the moment with a child experiencing the world for the first time, it gives you a whole new perspective on things.
porn and facebook
Checking this site hourly to see if anything changed… Yes I know I could just RSS!!
Biggest time waster? Watching hour after hour of kitten videoze on YouTube! I just never frickin’ get tired of it!
