“The 12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaway: Day 10 – Aerobics Pack+ NW for Nintendo Wii

This contest is closed. Congrats to faithful Macenstein reader Gregg.

On the Tenth Day After Christmas, Macenstein gave to you (or, more accurately, gave you a chance to win…) a Thrustmaster Aerobics Pack+ NW for fitness games such as WiiFit Plus, Wiifit (Nintendo), Active (EA), U Shape, My Fitness Coach (Ubisoft) and more!

Aerobics Pack+ NW

“What the–?!?”, I hear you say. What’s this got to do with Apple? Well, nothing, actually, but we figured a bunch of you likely own the Wii, and a bunch of you likely packed on a few pounds this holiday season, so it’s time you got off your butts and started using your Wii Fits. Here’s what’s included:

1 stepper for the Wii™ Balance Board™* – place the stepper under the Wii™ Balance Board™* and add steps to your training routine!
1 floor mat – 1.80 m x 0.5 m x 0.05 m, made from woven foam, for exercising on the floor
1 pedometer – count your steps during your game-driven routines and during your “outdoor” training sessions
* Remote Controllers sold separately

Please note, this is a “bring your own Wii Fit” deal.

To enter: Since the Thrustmaster Aerobics Pack is all about losing weight, leave us a comment telling us how far from your goal weight (over OR under) are you?. Winners will be picked randomly 7 days later and notified (kind of like in The Ring, only with less killing… we hope). Open to all readers world wide. Good luck, and thanks for reading Macenstein! (Oh, and be sure to enter ALL our “12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaways!)
Please note: Comments may take a while to show up, please do not double-post. Thanks!

  36. David Heiser says:

Got the Wii just before Christmas and all through the house, Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. (We do keep a neat clean house) I laid on the couch with the television on, while thoughts of the IPad (or ISlate) danced in my “Had”. It became quite apparent as I tried to roll off the edge, that it was time that I lost that belly, it was as large as a hedge. Me in my lycra, with the windows all closed, looked great to me, although I carried extra girth down below. 25 would do it, 30 would be great, but to look good to women (again) let’s go for 38.

  37. Chris Sorel says:

30 lbs over what I want to be.

  38. Doug says:

I try not to judge myself by some “perfect” weight and rather enjoy life as I am. But who doesn’t like a WII bit of exercise? And if a few pounds melt off in the process, so be it.

  39. MIke Major says:

    I’m about 20 pounds over. I’m 185 and should be about 165.

  40. Matthew says:

Put on 8kg since I got married.. Would be happy with this weight, but it all went on my stomach.. need to move it around a bit to some muscles.

  41. Michael says:

    10# under

  42. Paul says:

    A shit ton over… at #360, i should probably weigh #190.

  43. Jeff says:

I’m at the weight I want to be (~185) but need to tone my body down and convert some of this recently-earned fat into muscle.

  44. John Hefner says:

I’m 40 pounds over my target weight. I’m 70 pounds over what the doctor’s tell me I should weigh… for a current total weight of 240 at 6′ (athletic build). I’m still not quite sure how they figure I’m supposed to weigh 170 lbs, unless their goal is making me a pencil.

  45. Alan says:

10lbs over. My kids LOVE Wii and I hope I win one of these!

  46. Carrie says:

8 lbs. I’m also in the middle of 1/2 marathon training and could really use this for one of my easy cross training days!

  47. Manu says:

    About 10kg under :S

  48. Mike says:

    A few tons under.
