“The 12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaway: Day 16 – AKG K 313 Earbuds

This contest is closed. Congrats to faithful Macenstein reader Min.

On the Sixteenth Day After Christmas, Macenstein gave to you (or, more accurately, gave you a chance to win…) A set of AKG K 313 Earbuds!

akg k 313 earbuds

Sure, we all love our iPods and iPhones, but let’s face it, the stock earbuds are not exactly the best-sounding or most comfortable things around. Lucky for you, we’ve got you covered with the AKG K 313 earbuds, a noticeable step up in quality.

Larger drivers for richer sound.
The new AKG K 313 semi-open headphones feature 13mm drivers for wide-spectrum, high-output sound from virtually any portable device, anywhere your travels may take you. Available in a choice of colors with an included carrying pouch, K 313 lets you enjoy a private listening space in any public environment.

To enter: Since the K 313’s have awesome new drivers, we were wondering how awesome a driver YOU are! Leave us a comment telling us how’s your driving record? Ever had any accidents? Tickets? DUI’s? Hit and Runs?. Don’t worry, we won’t judge you. Winners will be picked randomly 7 days later and notified (kind of like in The Ring, only with less killing… we hope). Open to US and Canadian readers only. Good luck, and thanks for reading Macenstein! (Oh, and be sure to enter ALL our “12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaways!)
Please note: Comments may take a while to show up, please do not double-post. Thanks!

I have been in several accidents. None have been my fault since I was a teenager. Those were due to typical teenage showing off. I get a speeding ticket about once every 10-15 years. I try to keep it down but when the cruise control breaks and you drive 2-3 hours day what can I say.

  2. Steven Thompson says:

spotless record, but that’s more about luck ad less following the rules…

  3. Alex Jordan says:

I have a perfect driving record. So far…

  4. theo says:

1 ticket, which was totally bogus. going 31 in a 30 … that cop was a total jerk.

  5. No tickets whatsoever.

  6. David says:

    Spotless. No tickets ever.

  7. Gene says:

Driving for 36 years and no tickets. I’ve survived 3 accidents caused by other people, though.

  8. aaron says:

2 moving violations, nothing in the last 4 years-ish.

  9. Paul says:

Couple of speeding tickets in my youth, nothing in last 20+ years.

  10. autoy says:

I don’t drive. I do have a license and a car (that someone else uses) but I just don’t like driving.

  11. Chris H says:

A pair of speeding tickets and a minor fender bender.

  12. justin says:

Spotless driving record, I have had a few close calls though.

  13. Scott Dominick says:

No Tickets — no points! But I’ve had a few fender benders in my driving history. No hit and runs… yet!

  14. Eric M. says:

Like some of the others here, I currently have a spotless driving record. I’ve only been driving for a few years, though…

  15. SniderVX says:

    Clear slate so far. Yes!

  16. harp says:

3 accidents, 4-5 speeding tickets, around a dozen parking tickets.

One accident, the night I got my licence, was my fault, other two were people backing into me.

  17. darrell says:

good topic! i had the points taken off in august for blowing a stop sign, and was pulled over just wednesday for speeding, but the officer let me off.

so – still no record! i better stop driving with my wang.

  18. Sherv says:

Turned over an SMART car in 2004 it was 11:45 pm

rather than that, I think I am a good driver, drive gently with sound system kicking high, and sometimes very rare I put my foot down for a bit of excitement…

  19. Dick Nick says:

I’ve got 2 in the last 15 years. Both on the way to do volunteer work. Anti-karma

  20. seearees says:

I’ve gotten tickets but have a clean record thanks to traffic school. One time I got pulled over going 110 in a 55 and the cop let me go, I thought I was gonna get arrested.

  21. Nate says:

My driving record is spotless. =]

  22. Daniel says:

Well, being a Cop gives you some bad driving habits. You get use to breaking the rules. 🙂
But only two tickets, one for a broken side mirror (CHP will give anyone a ticket) and illegal lane change on the freeway (CHP again).

  23. Don’t have a drivers license yet 🙁

  24. Grant Wall says:

So far I’m clean, though I’ve still only got my Learners permit.

  25. Min says:

10 years, Only one ticket. However, One bigggggg accident!!!! and yes, it’s my fault.

  26. Joseph says:

1 speeding ticket in 40 years and i do like to go fast on the interstates. Just lucky, I guess. 🙂

  27. Joe Wilkes says:

I have not had a ticket or accident in over 10 years now, but before that, I must have had 10 tickets and accidents in 3 or 4 years.

  28. Kim G says:

    Spotless here.

  29. Double U says:

1 ticket for turning right where I wasn’t allowed to turn right and 1 small fender bender … with a cop in his own car :/

  30. Gregg says:

Driving 46 years with NO accidents, NO Tickets, NO DUI’s & NO Hit and Runs!

  31. Hanan says:

As of now, my driving record is as clean as a whistle (knock on wood)…
Lets see if in 2020 I can say the same.

  32. Tim says:

    spotless here

  33. mikeylee says:

Two tickets here. One for an illegal left turn 40 years ago (it was bogus), and one for speeding 10 years ago (well deserved as I was going 5 mph over but visibility was limited due to fog).

  34. OPK says:

I have an impeccable driving record,
I cant help it if people run into me!! 😉

  35. Giel says:

A perfect driving record so far

  36. reelist says:

Do warnings count? I’ve been lucky in the last 6 months to get 2 warnings rather than tickets… Whew. Otherwise spotless.

  37. Torrance says:

Tickets for running a red light, another for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign, one for speeding, and a failure to maintain safe distance resulting from a multi car crash in a white out.

  38. Smith says:

    Fine for now

  39. Aaron says:

Flawless driving record here for me. And no accidents, either! *knock on wood*

  40. andrew says:

1 reckless driving 11 years ago
    1 67 mph in a 55 mph 23 years ago
5 other speeding tickets that I fought in court and won.

  41. dE says:

Ummm, few parking tickets for parking on the sidewalk and few speeding tickets and one disturbing the peace for cranking up the music when I got stopped 😉

nothing major so far, so thank god.

  42. Mike Skultety says:

Spotless for the last 30 years.

    good to go

  44. Michael Davis says:

    3 speeding tickets

  45. Matthew Davis says:

I ticket for going “67.5” in a 65. Not to mention, it was a federal portion of the highway (next to a navy base) so the fine was doubled -> $550. Worst ticket ever.

  46. thisisjohnny says:

i did have a perfect record until i moved to virginia 2 years ago. this commonwealth is horrible.
    1 ticket, 1 accident

  47. Alan says:

Only few accidents and tickets in almost 30yrs driving.

  48. JT says:

100% clean after like 13 years.

  49. Aldo Johnson says:

Perfect record until one night, a fender-bender between my vehicle and a pick up truck with some good ‘ole boys. Worse yet, my insurance just lapsed. I hit a fender but had to pay for an engine tune up or something expensive like that. 🙁
