This contest is closed. Congrats to faithful Macenstein reader Min.
On the Sixteenth Day After Christmas, Macenstein gave to you (or, more accurately, gave you a chance to win…) A set of AKG K 313 Earbuds!
Sure, we all love our iPods and iPhones, but let’s face it, the stock earbuds are not exactly the best-sounding or most comfortable things around. Lucky for you, we’ve got you covered with the AKG K 313 earbuds, a noticeable step up in quality.
Larger drivers for richer sound.
The new AKG K 313 semi-open headphones feature 13mm drivers for wide-spectrum, high-output sound from virtually any portable device, anywhere your travels may take you. Available in a choice of colors with an included carrying pouch, K 313 lets you enjoy a private listening space in any public environment.
To enter: Since the K 313’s have awesome new drivers, we were wondering how awesome a driver YOU are! Leave us a comment telling us how’s your driving record? Ever had any accidents? Tickets? DUI’s? Hit and Runs?. Don’t worry, we won’t judge you. Winners will be picked randomly 7 days later and notified (kind of like in The Ring, only with less killing… we hope). Open to US and Canadian readers only. Good luck, and thanks for reading Macenstein! (Oh, and be sure to enter ALL our “12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaways!)
Please note: Comments may take a while to show up, please do not double-post. Thanks!
Only 1 accident everything else perfect
Two tickets. But I’ve decided it’s cheaper just to follow the rules from now on…
I have a couple of speeding tickets in my past. Several days before Christmas I rear ended someone who stopped short in a parking lot as well.
It was the prelude to a lovely week.
My driving experience is rather small, but I managed once almost bump a tractor… Since then my father-in-law never entrusted me his car. oops…
I was on A1A in Florida along the beach and back-ended a Porsche in stop n go traffic. The guy got out and looked at me with a what happened. I pointed at a total babe in a pink bikini riding toward us. He looked at her turned to me smiled and said ah mitigating circumstances. Got in his car and drove off. So I almost go a ticket—does that count?
Spotless record… Touch wood..
I had a small crash driving backwards last month. But still no tickets since I got the driving licence.
Perfect record, as far as the authorities are aware anyway….
100% clean since entering the witness relocation program.
I had a pretty bad rollover accident about 10 years ago, but it has been spotless since
One speeding ticket and 1 accident thats it in 7 years of driving
1 ticket for speeding in a school zone 🙁
2 speeding tickets here both 25km over the limit and both knocked down to 10km over.
2 speeding tickets in 30 years of driving. not bad, really.
hahaha a few accidents
plenty of tickets and lost my license the same day
got it back now!!! lol
No tickets for awhile… =)
just a couple of speeding tickets
Only 1 ticket for not wearing the seat belt.
None
Clean as a whistle!!
One failure to stop at a red light….It was bull!
A few tickets and a few fender-benders when I was younger. These days I tend to be more careful. 🙂
7 tickets one accident I didn’t cause
I totaled a car in high school, but just fine ever since
I got into an accident the first week after I got my license. My dad hadn’t put me on the insurance yet so he told them that he was driving. So I have a perfect record.
Never been in an accident and I’ve had a spotless record. But I once had some fool scrape a good part of the paint off one of the front doors when I had parked it.
A few accidents (including one where I/we were stationary, but were totalled anyway). A few tickets. No DUIs or other illegal nastinesses.
I almost hit an old lady while she was crossing the street. My grandparents were in the car.
Every accident I’ve been in I was only a passenger and never a driver. Worst accident I’ve been in was in a T-bone at an intersection. My record is spotless, though. Six years driving on the road.
in 23 years 3 or 4 speeding tickets, rear-ended someone a couple times (not the same person), but no injuries/fatalities so I’m calling that a win.
I’m clean so far but haven’t been driving all that long.
My driving record is clean…because I haven’t been caught. My last ticket (speeding) was over 5 years ago. I’ve never been in an accident when I’ve been behind the wheel.
Pristine record
19 years old. 2001 Integra GSR, 95 in a 45, reckless driving, arrested and stuck in the back of the cop car. By the time my friends caught up to me (in a separate car. yes – i was showing off) I was already in handcuffs. Cop didn’t radar me and I had a clean record so I convinced him to not take me to the police station. Ah, to be a kid again….
I am such an “awesome” driver, my friends got me a g-force gauge to see how high it would go. I did get an “improper lane change” ticket around 4 years ago, but since then I’ve only gotten one speeding ticket.
A ticket…or two…or three…
Perfect driver. I swear.
one dismissed tickets. Three times my car was hit while parked. two of which were in the same spot.
I almost got a speeding ticket in my white minivan the other day. I was doing about 80 in a 65 on the freeway when I spotted a motorcycle CHPS pointing a radar gun right at me. I immediately dropped behind another car going slightly slower in the next lane over, using it as a shield to hide behind.
Sure enough the cop holster the radar and jumped on the bike. I watched him zipping up behind me like he was moving a light speed, those BMW’s are fast! I moved into the right hand lane fearing it was ticket time for me. To my surprise the cop zipped right past me and dogged around a few other cars, them switched on the flashing lights and pulled over a red Corolla! Was the other car really speeding? Who knows but it was red, and red gets the ticket!
AKG K 313 semi-open headphones please!
I once got a warning for a dead tail light. I’ve never been able to trust myself behind the wheel again.
Never been convicted of any traffic violation
Spotless.
Nothing in 10 years…
I was featured on the show “Cops”.
3 accidents, a dozen or so speeding tickets, suspended license (30 days for speeding), all before the age of 24. I’ve had a clean driving record during the 20 years since.
One accident when 16. Not bad for driving 31 years.
a few blemishes – on the car and the record, but nothing recently…
Accidents: 1
Parking Tickets: 5
Driving Tickets: 4
I am an AMAZING driver… even though I only have my permit… but I will have my license soon!
a few speeding tickets a LONG time ago since started driving a LOOOOOONG time ago
