“The 12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaway: Day 37 – A Finis SwiMP3
This contest is closed. Congrats to faithful Macenstein reader Dave.
On the Thirty-Seventh Day After Christmas, Macenstein gave to you (or, more accurately, gave you a chance to win…) A Finis SwiMP3!

AAARRRGGGHH!! If it be treasure you be seekin’, look no further than the $150 Finis SwiMP3, a fine beauty of a water proof MP3 player. The SwiMP3’s hand-free design is perfect for SCUBA-diving treasure hunters who need to keep both hands free to fight both sharks AND octopuses.
The SwiMP3.1G is a waterproof mp3 player created with a unique innovative sound transfer technology that offers exceptional underwater sound clarity. The completely redesigned waterproof MP3 player utilizes bone-conduction technology to transmit high-fidelity sound underneath the water.
Standard players rely on the transmission of sound through air or water which causes the swimmer to perceive only muffled noise. Because the SwiMP3 uses bone conduction, the sound vibrations are able to be directly transferred from the cheek bone to the inner ear, giving the swimmer the ultimate sensory experience.
Yes, with the SwiMP3 you’ll be a veritable Aqua-Man, although hopefully you’ll choose a better costume.
To enter: Speaking of Aqua-Man, we all know if they ever make an Aqua-Man movie, it will be the greatest movie of all time and out-gross Avatar. But until then, we want to know, What’s your favorite movie of all time? Winners will be picked randomly 7 days later and notified (kind of like in The Ring, only with less killing… we hope). Open to ALL READERS WORLD-WIDE. Good luck, and thanks for reading Macenstein! (Oh, and be sure to enter ALL our “12 Days AFTER Christmas” Giveaways!)
Please note: Comments may take a while to show up, please do not double-post. Thanks!
There can’t be only one, but for now I will pick AVATAR
Videodrome.
long live the new flesh
Serenity
Citizen Kane is definitely up there.
Battlestar Galactica (should have been a movie)
The Bourne Series
Once upon a time in America
Back to the Future
Mike Nichols – Closer
hmm i’m honestly not sure i really don’t have a single favorite but if i HAVE to pic i guess Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory it was the first film i ever got obsessed with
The Matthew tapes because it made me see Jesus in a different way.
The Truman Show
operation kingdom
LOTR
Fight Club (even though the premise is ironic for what our country is going through right now)
Definitely The Fifth Element!
Matrix (the 1st one of course)
Saving Ms Liberty.
I’d have to say its a tie between Up!, District 9, and Avatar. Up! for its amazingly done story and style. Avatar for the breathtaking effects, so advanced that they had to create the technology to do them. Although District 9 was amazingly done as well. Definitely one of these three.
Blade Runner
Back to the Future
Star Wars IV: A New Hope (1977)
Raiders of the Lost Ark
La Vita è Bella – Life is Beautiful (1997)
Use to be star wars, but i’m still in awe after 3d imax avatar.
Probably Canadian Bacon… it still never gets old
AVATAR all the way baby!
humm can’t say, I have one for every genre. I’ll stick with the Fellowship of the Ring. And i’m a frequent lap swimmer :-D, so this would be awesome!
The Truman Show
Cheech and Chong
American Beauty
Beavis and Butthead do America
Dr. Strangelove
italian job
A Beautiful Mind.
An awesomely intriguing movie!
The Fountain
Back to the Future
V for Vendetta
Best all round? Probably One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest – but it’s so hard to chose just one.
There are so many! “A Bridge too Far” “Field of Dreams” “About a Boy” “Wall-E”
Oooh, maybe it’s “Welcome to Macintosh” 🙂
Difficult to pinpoint, but I could watch Dazed and Confused anytime.
Shakes The Clown
LOTR, Titanic
Huozhe
Bicentennial Man
Picking one is so hard! I guess I will go with Lord of the Rings (so I guess I technically still didn’t pick 1…oh well).
amadeus
amadeus
I was seven when I saw the 1982 movie Poltergeist. Man, did the mess with my head growing up….couldn’t go to sleep for the longest time.
