64 GB White iPhone running iOS 5 with Expose-like Multitasking
It looks like Vietnam might be Apple’s “Vietnam” when it comes to plugging leaks on upcoming iPhones. Once again, the site Tinhte is back, showing off some new (alleged) iOS 5 features, running on a 64 GB (FINALLY!) white iPhone4. I love how all these iPhone leak videos appear to be taken in a laundromat or outdoor restaurant. It feels like if the guy working the camera panned around the room we’d see someone buying Uranium and a Panda.
Unfortunately there’s no preview of a new notification system, but the current iOS 4 multitasking appears to be being replaced with something that looks more like Expose. Honestly, I can’t say I see it as an improvement, and who knows how “final” what they are showing us is, but hey, at least we get to talk about the next iPhone for once, right?
Also new appears to be the way folders are handled, and there is some sort of new Facebook integration apparently built-in as well, probably for quickly posting pictures of your pets directly from within the camera app.
They’re probably manufacturing them at the factory right around the block from Apple’s. They have incredibly lax laws on stealing intellectual property overseas. It’s a risk to American industry if you stop and think about it.
So multitasking looks a bit different.. yawn. I hope we can look forward to some improvements in the calendar app, home screen, notifications, etc. My prediction is that iOS4 will be released with a speedbumped iPhone4 for everyone with AT&T contracts expiring, and the update will basically cripple the 3GS, as it was last time with the 3G.
It’s an old developer build, nothing new. 🙁
