I got mine by storm and scorch on the first try
Does it have to be breed at a specific time?
To get a moon it has to be bred between 7pm-7am, example midnight. xx
this is not true
It is haha i got my moon at 9 pm, you can use the same combo to get a sun that you use to get a moon, but to get a sun it has to be bred between 7am-7pm, like at noon.

Got my moon at 10pm
I keep getting suns with crystal and bluefire in the daytime so I know you get suns 7am to 7 pm and moons 7pm to 7am

I got my moon a little after 9 pm. It doesn’t matter what time zone it is, it tracks the time on your device :)xx
hmm… i’m pretty convinced that the timezone could matter!!!
i’ve tried round 50 times to breed the aquamarine between 7 and 8 AM as many suggested, Right this moment i tried @4.30 PM CET = 7.30 AM PDT and got one 1st try!!! coincidence? 😛

Because it takes 24h for crystal
Cold and lightning an be used. It takes 5 hours for storm and 8 hours for hail, 48 hours for sun or moon xx
I did not even try for this dragon (though I wanted it) but I got it using cold and lightning dragons 🙂 I used the regular breeding cave and started breeding about 2 days ago at around this time (for those who think time makes a difference). Good luck to u all 🙂
im only level 17 and have epic breeding island how do i breed moon dragon
You can use any combination that has cold and lightning elements in it. Like hail and storm. They have the same two elements so there are less possible dragons that you could get. xx
Oh, and you have to breed it between 7pm-7am. You could also use that combo to get a sun, if you breed it between 7am-7pm. c: x
Lolo, thats use the time in iphone or the real time? Because i bred hail+sonic get 48 hours at 4am in iphone’s time, but the real time 4pm.. i change my time. what will i get?
I’m actually not sure about that one! I think you’ll get moon because it makes sense that it tracks your iPhone time rather than location, which is what I thought it did. It’ll probably be moon! What do you want to get? xx

I don’t think so, I’m not sure what they would be if there were any. This game seems pretty straightforward.

Yes there is a gem cheat first you log out of Game Center and go to dragon vale and it will ask you to sign in but just hit cancel and let it load then it will look like when you started and that’s okay then you log back into Game Center and go back to dragon vale and hit the message Game Center when it comes up and you will get free 10 gems Do not use if you have more than 10 because it will reduce it to ten and it also might look like your park just do the same thing you can also look at the video on YouTube

I bred a mud dragon and a hail dragon. I got 48 hours. Will it most likely be sun? I bred them at 7:30 am. I guess it could be rainbow maybe seasonal. Thanks!

I have a crystalvdragon and a lichendragon but does my dragons need to be bouth level 10?
Nope, they just have to be old enough to breed.

On the EBI I bread hail on my left lvl 10 and sonic on my right lvl 10 on first try it will be sun or moon I’m so exited to find out 🙂

I just got it first attempt with Fog + Scorch, both level 10!
You can’t get a moon from that combo lol. There’s no cold element xx
I got my moon with a cold elemental on accident
I bred a sun with cold+lightning I wanted a sun but after my plasma
dragon is bred I will try breeding moon with the same combination and
at 7:30pm. Hope I get it wish me good luck!!!
Good luck! I feel so happy for you, you sound like you have good luck since its pretty hard to get an epic from a basic combo like that, since there’s more chance for storm and hail ^w^ xx

You can’t breed a solar eclipse right now. Only at certain times xx

get a moon by breeding blue moon and moon works every time or moon and moon
I got one on my second try with crystal and lichen! This combo is great because you can get the sun, moon or rainbow with it!
What if I don’t have a EBI
I got mine from breeding a fire and hail dragon! I think it may have been a fluke

Time does matter! If you would have bred it 3 hours earlier, it would have been a sun 🙂 xx
not so. it is mostly true and of the 5 moon dragons I now have all started at night, except I’ve also gotten a sun dragon at 2300 GMT. so most will follow day/night, but it is clearly possible to get a sun dragon at night.

So frustrated! I’ve been trying for possibly months and I still can’t get a moon. I have 2 rainbows and a sun. I’ve tried combo after combo. I really wish it could be a bit more like Pokemon where if you evolved your eevee at night you got an umbrion but instead breed two dragons at an exact time and get a moon. Spent all my gems rushing breedings to try the next set……might just keep throwing together crystal and blue fire and save up my gems to try to buy one. Eventually I’ll get it I guess.

I bred my cold and lightening together to get my hail. Took two tries, but I recently got it. Keep trying, good luck!
