ive heard you get a better chance when you use level 9 lava and level 8 fog

Worked for me 2nd try. Just rolling the dice, some have more bad luck than others.
Blazing and mud second try
Try doing rain and lava. Worked for me on the 3rd try. Hope this helps

I don’t think it really matters
It does its gotta be blazing right and mud left
It doesn’t matter which side the dragons are. The outcome will still be the same, this is stated in the dragonvale official website.

Got rainbow dragon AGAIN! Was trying to get panlong with fog and lava. Just bought epic breeding island. Happy but frustrated.

I bred fog and obsidian in my cave and obsidian and rain on my breeding island and got a panlong for both of them. I tried the first two like 20 times and they never worked but I got it on the first try with the second two.
Is it possible to breed a second panlong, does anyone know?? I’ve tried like crazy, so far no luck.
It might be hard, but its definitely possible. I’ve bred 3, first one on purpose, next two on accident. I kept 2 and saved the 3rd egg and put it on a pedestal, literally, haha. :). I used blazing and mud the first time. I can’t remember the other combos tho. Sorry, hope this helps xx

I Tryed using lava right and fog left. That didn’t work ill try the seaweed and snow dragon next tho
snow and seaweed gets pearl dragon, not panlong

Hey I got the Panglong dragon I thinks it’s seaweed and snow maybe but I think that’s how I got mines.
Snow and seaweed won’t work!! A panlong does NOT have snow as its habitat!! Use logic!!

When I got my first panlong, I was so excited and I tried breeding another one. When I bred blazing and mud, it took me a while to get another panlong and instead I got a firework dragon 🙂 it was pretty random but cool 🙂 =)
I tried. A mud and blazing but got a leap year instead with a regular breeding cave
I was trying to breed another panlong and there is this egg that is gold. I really want to know what it is!!!!
Hahaha my first thought reading this was; well, maybe it’s gold!!! Which sent me into a laughing fit. No offense to you 🙂 but then I see a comment saying they got a leap year, and remembered that the leap year egg is pure gold and shiny-looking. 14.5 hours inc. time, brother to the rainbow dragon (: xx
You probably got a gold dragon. Does it have scale things on it? If so you got GOLD dragon!!!!
Woohoo, got it first try with obsidian and rain,I did it 6 hrs ago,was so happy to get it before the limited dragons go away,got it on normal breeding cave,I didn’t even mean to breed it,I was curious what I would get , I think I’m probably one of the first people of 2013 to breed one, or in fact any limited dragon 😀
Does anyone know, if you have 2of the same dragons and you breed them together after they’re no longer available do you still get a third??
Yeah, like if you breed a leap year and a leap year, it’s a 100% chance you’re going to get another leap year 🙂

try rain and lave like right now. i tried for panlong like a jillion times last two wks, got tons of rare dragons but was worried i would never get a panlong with coughin up the dough for him since the bring em back ends soon. got a 36 hour wait time just now. bliss.

Finally got a panlong dragon, using fog and lava! I missed out on the bring em back event because I’m such a new player to this game 🙁 Hopefully they’ll have another event like that in the future. Just glad I got this dragon before it went away too! Going to work on the garnet dragon now and hope I get lucky!

i tried mud and blazing, got 3 out of 4 right now
I bred mine using firework and mud. 🙂

Are these dragons still able to be bred? I’ve been trying for a month and still haven’t gotten one.
After 34 tries and more mud and lava dragons than I could ever want, I see breeding time set for 36 hours. Relief.
As for the questions about when the Panlong dragon will no longer be available. The Chinese new year is Feb 10th, so I will assume Feb 9th will be the last day.
So can we still breed this dragon’s? Cause I’m gonna try because it’s still in stores 🙂

I tried to get panlong a zillion times! I finally got it with fog and lava in the basic breeding cave!
I just tried your combo as well, and my first try I am left with a 36 hour egg! I hope it is the panlong! Both of my dragons were level 10 and bred after 10 pm in a basic breeding cave. Will let you know what hatches out of it.
My egg is now incubating. Has a chinese symbol on it and is taking 36 hours to incubate, so I’m assuming it’s a panlong. Got it on my second try. I tried at least 10 times tonight around 7pm to see if I could breed another, but kept getting everything except a panlong. I’m going to try again after 10 pm to see if the time makes a difference.

One second I was mad at myself for forgetting to breed fog and lava yesterday like I usually do, the next I read this article. When I went back to dragon vale, an egg that wasn’t there before was suddenly there! And it was Panlong ????

I was trying to breed a Panlong Dragon, and I breaded a Lava Dragon lvl 7 on left and Fog Dragon lvl 7 on right. It says a 48 hour incubation time, so could somebody tell me what dragon this is?

I thought rainbow was 48……
It is, but he has an upgraded breeding cave which makes the times 20% shorter.
Ahhhhhhh, I c, I didn’t know he had an upgraded breeding cave/island
I just assumed because there’s no dragon that’s 39 hours, and 48 divided by 20% is 35 hours 28 minutes xx
For the past month an a week now before the time runs out when the Panlong dragon ends on the 10 th of feb Iv only breed combos the this F-en dragon I think I’ve breed at least 100 or over 100 useless dragons that I don’t want. I have done all combos even stuck with one combo to hopefully have a higher rate of luck but still nothing. I did the other combos in the same way but again nothing and even mixed other combos to see if there was a trick or more luck (but its a F-en fail).
I really wish they would sell the dragon for 10 or even 15 gems like put it on special for the last day since it won’t come back for another 12 years!. ( GRR I just want one to add to my collection)
