The 4th egg is the DragonVale RAINBOW Dragon Egg
I got it breeding Fog and Lava dragons (lots of tries)
In the Epic Cave, I bred a Current and a Butterfly = Rainbow!
I got it with snow and seaweed, I was trying for a pearl, but, suprise! Strange, they were both level ten. Nobody else has gotten it with this combonation, but I think it is just a random try. Whatever combo. works for your island is what will work every time. Sorry if you dont have much luck. Try many different combonations untill one works for you! Does anybody have any tricks to get a pearl dragon? I tried the combonation on this website, but all I have been getting is willow ( and rainbow ;).

I got both a rainbow and a pearl with Snow + Seaweed.
I think I may have got it by breeding firefly and lichen dragons. They havent finished breeding yet so I don’t know
I got it using seaweed dragon and firefly dragon lots of tries.
I can’t get it
I used a Storm dragon and a Sakura dragon that order level 10 and both been in fountain of youth worked on first try.
I Was trying to get a panlong but somehow i got a rainbow dragon with Mud dragon and Blazing dragon after like 50 attempts on a regular island i got a rainbow dragon. 😛
Can anybody tell me the outcome of the two dragons I’m breeding; Crystal + Lichen (01:06:55:32) Hurry them up for 31 gems?

I breed crystal and lichen and i hope that a gonna get a rainbow. And in my breeding cave i breed firefly and seaweed. And my friend told to me at that gonna be a rainbow dragon…. Is it true that he says??
No fair I’m like a level 20 and I just barly got a crystal dragon and I have all the crap epic breeding all the stuff and now I finally get my luck…a sun dragon!!!!! I don’t even want it!!!! Try again no emerald no rainbow…moon:( try again…emerald!!!!! Try again!!!!!!… Another moon!!!!!! All I want is a simple rainbow is that to much to ask *sits in corner mopping*
Yea… Welcome to my world. Try using domestic caves as well as breeding islands, and be patient. You’ll get it.
If all your gonna get is emerald( I’d actually be happy for some), then buy a emerald island. They only house emerald dragons which sucks because I am gemless and is hungry for emerald dragons. So plz gift me gems. My game center is lil’ Bman.
It’s a gemstone island and it holds ALL gem dragons like emerald and pearl 🙂
I got a rainbow first try using seaweed/panlong. Then I breed a few others in between an tried the combo again just to see what would happen, got another!! Then had my sis try it an she got the leap year first try rainbow second!! Try it!! SEA WEED/PANLONG
I think getting a rainbow dragon is pure luck and I guess luck is not or is on ur side
After one day of no breeding any other dragon. I breed Lichen on the left and Crystal on the right and got another Emerald dragonn. This will make 4 Emerald dragons this month of May. Can’t wait for June Emerald dragon.
They’re not always emerald dragons. They change each month.

Third attempt with Crystal + Lichen rewarded me with Rainbow, still trying for Emerald.
Lichen and crystal, 2nd attempt in small breeding cave and gave me a Mountain Draggon! Cool x
I tried four times whit lichen and crystal, but I just got emerald dragons. On the fift try I finally got a rainbow dragon. I’m lv. 14!

Wow… You can get moon & sun dragons and emerald dragons with lichen and crystal and even rainbow dragon too! It seems like u can get all rare dragons with lichen and crystal

I bred a rainbow with crystal/lichen at 10:30pm here in Alaska and got a rainbow dragon…so did a friend, so i think the time does have something to do with it.
Moon=7:00pm -7:00am
Sun=7:00am-7:00pm 🙂
i bred a storm dragon with a flower dragon and got the rainbow dragon on a normal island , first try…
I got a Rainbow dragon on the 4th try of breeding crystal and lichen! On the third try I got an emerald dragon as well!!! Happy days!!?
Wow you guys are lucky… i have been breeding Crystal and Lichen, both Level 10, for like a month, all i am getting are Mountain, Cactus, Lichen, Crystal, all the common stuff but no Suns or Moons or Rainbows or EMERALD (which is really what i want.)
Breeding Lichen and crystal seems to be the best way to get rare dragons…I just managed to get an Emerald last month after about twenty tries. However, what seems like a simple task(breeding the Rainbow Dragon) had proved to be very tough. I’ve tried Crystal(Lv. 8) with Lichen(Lv. 7) at least 30 times, because it seems like the best combination for rare dragons. So far, only one Emerald, followed by Quakes, Crystals, common dragons, etc. Do the level of dragons, time of day, use of the fountain of youth, or use of the hibernation cave positively affect breeding outcomes for the Rainbow Dragon? If not, then any tips that could come in handy?
I did lichen(lvl 4) and crystal(lvl 4) and I got rainbow(3rd try) & emerald(4th try)

No. They never matter, despite what people think. It is sheer luck to get any random dragon so no, the dragons specifications do not matter.
try doing blazing and mud, it worked for me

I got it on the first try with mud (L) blazing (R) like a panlong but I got a rainbow on normal breeding, both dragons were lvl 10.

I’ve also confirmed that you can breed a Rainbow Dragon with a snow dragon and a seaweed dragon and they do not need to be lv.10. Figured this out because I got a rainbow dragon egg while trying to breed my pearl dragon, and I achieved both.
Ok just chose to breed crystal and lichen and got a breeding time of 01:14:24:37 wat could it possibly be that’s the longest time I have ever herd of

I got 2 redundant rainbow dragons and 2 sun dragons by breeding snow and seaweed for pearl dragon.

Yes just bred panlong and blue fire got a 48 hour breeding time it can only be a rainbow. I’ve tried hundreds of times for this it’s a bit weird because I tried twice to breed a pearl and they both were pearl.
You got a pearl dragon that way?
I’d just like to say that breeding the Rainbow dragon is totally random. You can try any combo to get it, but you should start with the easier dragons like Firefly. Keep breeding iver and over again and you should get a Rainbow. It’s proven by me, but that’s what many if my friends tell me, soooo… I’m still doing the Macenstein combos, thank you. TEHEE.

I tried crystal and blue fire and it has me waiting 24 hours for them to breed. Is this going to be a good outcome? They’re both level 10 but im using the normal breeding cave
i used mud on left and blazing on the right got a rainbow dragon and two solstice dragons that way now I’m going for panlong.
