How u get the sun dragon is I’ve tried it 2 times on to different files first try it’s cold left storm right I just did it with a level 5 cold level 4 storm it works first time also with level tens ok how u get the rainbow is poison right mouton left to be honest I was trying for the paper but whtaevs it is very rare to get one and they have to both be level ten and u have to be lucky I hope this helps also I’ve gotan the blurrier an frost fire epic breeding cave fire storm but u don’t need it to hatch the rainbow or the moon also on this new file I’m level 12 so it dosent matter what level u are
just tried your cold/storm formula and got 2 day breed time on 1st try hoping its sun dragon.gem for gem. thanks.

Sun Dragon: (lvl 10) Crystal on left (lvl 10) Lichen on right. On the Epic Breeding Island.
Breeding and incubation time 48 hours. I got it of the first try. I built the Sun Dragon Habitat before breeding.

I know its weird but i got my sun Dragon by breeding a quake dragon with the mountain dragon!
I tried this and it worked! Thanks so much 🙂 now to get the opal :/

Got my Sun dragon by breeding lvl 10 Sonic on the left & lvl 10 Storm on the rite during the day (can’t remember exact time but I know it was after 12 & before 5). It was 48hrs to breed & another 49hrs to incubate the eggs before it was ready to hatch…hope this helps anyone trying for sun. I was actually trying for moon!! LOL

I have tried Chrystal and lichen, Chrystal and blue fire, iceberg and storm and firefly and storm and all I keep getting are moons no matter what. I’ve gotten at least twelve In a row, could this be a glitch?
It’s because your breeding them at night. You need to breed them during the day time.
I tried like 15 times and i get sun, rainbow, and gold olympus but no moon I tried crystal and blue fire like 16 times no moon :O
What time should we follow for the sun? I.e. the time in the states or local time in our own country?
I have just bred a water and a storm. 48 hours and I’ll see what I get
Water is level 7 and storm is level 9 on the basic breeding cave. I was going for plasma, current or ice/iceberg if I couldn’t get them and 48 hours popped out of nowhere.
No Sun, but got a moon. Macenstein, you can add that combo.
Ditto on the 48 hour storm/water combo.. not sure what I’ll get for 40 more hours til I see the egg. Even told my son about 15 minutes later; he freaked out, he ran up to room, grabbed his Ipod, and bred storm/water – boom – 48 hour mating again

lvl 4 storm and lvl 7 scorch 1st try its 9:30 est us so this will be a moon right?
I have so many moons and blue moon but want the sun and have been trying multiple combos and dragons for months to no avail! I did Crystal and Blue Fire and I ended up getting a 6hour one so then I switched the sides and got a 48hr one. 🙂 Hasn’t hatch yet. :/

Hey guys i bred a sun dragon using one of these combinations you have to breed durin the day. Does take ages. However, i accidentally bred Magnetic and Evergeen together and it gave me a Sun! Hope that helps!!

Soooo I was trying to get a frostfire with a firefly and cold… And three or four breedings in I got a sun dragon and another three of four later I just got a moon so this combo works too! I’m kind of excited even tho I already had the sun but I didn’t have a moon yet! Still can’t the the stupid frostfire tho… Been trying off and on for months..

Could you get a sun dragon using the equinox?
Try ice and lightning both lvl 10. I don’t know if its a moon or sun dragon it’s breeding, but its say 2 days.

i got the topaz on the island and then got the moon on the first try and then i got a different dragon i bread an air and a forge and got a 24 hr on the other and i dont know wat it would be plz reply if u know wat it would be thanks
Yea I bred a lvl 10 quake and a lvl 10 mountain and the breeding time was 24 hours… any idea what this would be??
Sun dragon is so esy to get! Breed crystal and blue fire lv10 at the morning of east timeline boom you have it! Oh yeah (I’m happy because I got!)
What is east timeline?

Storm and scorch was what I just used and got my sun. Sooo tickled!!! It took 4 or 5 tries. And… it was in my breeding cave, not my EBI. Now off for the moon.
I read these comments over and over and it does help hearing about other combos that work. To all of my fellow dragonvale junkies, “thank you”!!!

This is the only epic dragon I haven’t had, I have tried approx. 80 tries with firefly – storm combo at island and cave , didn’t work at all! Always breed firefly or scorch or storm, NO SUN or other epic, just that three boring dragons every day for a month !!! Then tried bluefire – crystal combo approx. 30 tries, didn’t get SUN, but 2 rainbows and 1 moon, quite happy, but still disappoint… NO SUN again!!! Now tried frostfire – storm combo until now, but up to now still no luck with the SUN, I’m at level 40 and no SUN, If there’s a DV player at my level who has no SUN dragon, that would be just me. Isn’t it great 🙂

What r u trying to breed?
I heard that to get a sun dragon you have to start breeding in the day time. If you start breeding in the night time you’ll get a moon dragon, is this true?
Just got a 48 hr using storm lv 10 on left, and frostfire lv 11 in breeding island. Hoping for a sun.
I got it with firefly and cold. Both level 10 in the regular breeding cave.

Um not to ruin your excitement that isn’t a sun dragon if you wanted sun that’s most likley to be crystal

Hi just got sun dragon I think anyway with iceberg and storm 1st try that’s a big achievement for me because it usually takes 40 odd times! So iceberg and storm 48 hours is it sun or moon it has a bigger chance for sun 24.54% chance for sun and like 1.53% for moon! THANK U SOOOO MUCH DRAGON CALCULATOR it’s free in app store get it can tell u how to breed every dragon!
