How long does the sun dragon incubate for?
For me I got 48 hours for both sun and moon. Add me: Xbonechiller I will give you a gem if you give me a gem a day!

This is wierd that no one knew this combo… I was searching up how to breed a sun/moon dragon and found this combo:
Salamander + Storm: 50% Hail Dragon 50% Sun/Moon Dragon…
Another Website said Salamander + Storm = 100% Sun Dragon… WIERD?!
I’d Suggest to try this combo since ive gotten 7 sun dragons and 4 moons (depending on the time of day)
And some hail dragons… Sometimes you may get a salamander dragon out of this but i got a crapload of sun and moon… :T All try salamander+storm!

I got a sun dragon with firefly and cold
I got a sun dragon egg just now, by combining lightning and ice dragon.
I actually wanted a storm dragon and I am just level 13 so I was totally surprised.
Well I am happy because it is my first sun dragon and I have only one gem so I would not be able to buy it.
It is good, but I think you don’t have enough money for the habitat, right?
I’m at level 13 too and got a sun dragon when trying to breed a moon dragon. Will try the night time horizontal mambo with storm and lightning and see what happens…..assuming my sun dragon ever hatches and frees up my nursery. It takes forever! Anyone kow how I can speed it up since I only have 1 stupid gem?
Did u use the combo lightning + -ice as well?

Why can’t I just get one I got one that was 48 hours and it was a moon dragon maybe the sun dragon hates me ?
My brother says breed a storm and firefly but I can’t get it ? Also I’m breeding it during daytime also this gotten me the spring dragon too I must be talking too much .
Do this: for sun dragon, breed the combo between 7am and 7pm. For moon, in between 7pm and 7am.

Hail and Storm works surprisingly well.
I have been trying to breed the sun dragon for weeks. I finally got it today at 2:05pm on epic breeding grounds with crystal on the left and blue fire on the right. I had just turned lvl 22. Hope this helps others.

I bred an iron n scorch dragon, n i got sun dragon. I also got a moon dragon but i forgot which dragon i used to bred

Storm and firefly work great for this. I’ve gotten more sun dragons than I know what to do with. Also (while trying to get the returning Emerald) I found that crystal and lichen work well also. Add me to your friends list, I’d be more than happy to gift gem for gem
I got this breeding hail and firefly, while trying to breed a spring dragon.
So frustrated! Two times I combined firefly and storm, got an incubation time of 48 hours! The first time I thought I had sun dragon, so I purchased the sun habitat. I got MOON DRAGON! A few days later repeated the breeding, I got MOON DRAGON again! How is this possible?? I am beginning to think that it doesn’t matter what you breed you will get whatever dragon the computer wants to give at that particular time of breeding. That is why I never got the eclipse dragon or a few of the other special dragons even though I tried ALL MONTH using the recommended breeding dragons At level 15 or above! It is very aggravating .
If you want a sun dragon you should try breeding between 7am and 7pm. 🙂 maybe you are just breeding at night times…hope this helps.

Think I had 40 failed attempts to sun dragon… 🙁 got moon twice. No matter what time I started to breed
Blue fire left and crystal right works like a charm!
Crystal and Lichen worked for me. It took me about 6 tries but after the 6th or so try I got a sun dragon and then a moon dragon and then a rainbow dragon. One after the other. Now every single time I put lichen and crystal together I always get a 48 hour breeding time.
Got a spring dragon the first time, and the second time I got a sun dragon! I bred firefly and storm both level 10!

Wow! I was trying to make a sun dragon but i couldnt so i gave up, then i breed lightning and cold dragon to make a storm dragon but the breeding took so long i thought why is it taking so long for a storm dragon? Then when after 2 days it was done so then i saw the egg and i almost fainted! it was a sun dragon!
