Will someone tell me how u really get the emerald dragon because I have bred the crystal and lichen about 20 times and no emerald has shown up. ????
First do lichen and than crystal it workt for me on my fifth try
I’ve been trying since its been out at least 20 times no luck on the emerald dragon. Both are level 13 dragons. Getting a little pissed off. Also no luck with the current dragon. Those dragons are level 15. Ended up with tons of dragons to
Sell. A copper dragon and 2 sun dragons though. Not that I have any room for more sun dragons glad I have a hibernation cave. This game doesn’t like me.

i must be on my 40th attempt with crystal and lichen, but still going with them.. and no luck 🙁 getting bored with all the stupid duplicates I am now getting… so bad I even have a sun dragon egg as a display item in my park as I had so many of the darn things… please designers, don’t make it so tough nobody can get the flipping things.
Crystal left, lichen right. Make sure Crystal is one level higher 🙂
I got an emerald dragon my 2nd try with Both dragons lvl 10. :3 I dont think it matters what level the dragons are as long as they aren’t lvl 1-5. 😛

I just put the crystal and lichen together and saw a 48 hour breeding time. I hope that means something good is going to happen.
I got a Moon Dragon when I did that. Then as soon as it got done breeding, i did the same exact combination and got the Emerald Dragon! I hope that works out for you!
It wil be a sun or moon then. Got both bij putting together crystal an lichen. Still Got no emerald though
I got a 48 hr too a couple days ago and it was a SUN dragon, the emerald is 31 hrs
I am still hopeful that I will get one before the month ends. Gimme more tips pls. I beg you guys. :[

Don’t give up, it took me about 6-7 times. You just have to be patient! Good Luck!

All I got for breeding a crystal and a lichen was a crystal a moss and a moon I tried so many times and never got it
I bred the Emerald Dragon after about 6-7 tries using the Crystal Dragon (Lvl 10) on the Left and the Lichen Dragon (Lvl 10) on the right. I also want to note that I used this same combination and got a Moon Dragon right before i got the emerald. Two rare dragons in a row…..I was soooo excited!
I bred a crystal and lichen and got a sun..
Just got one on my first attempt :).. Don’t really go on dragonvale anymore got bored, breed time was like half 2 to 3 o clock.. Dunno I that helps 🙂
ATTENTION i know how to get it. If u want to get it fast use the epic breeding island thing then do the same combination and it should raise the chance of getting it but it is expensive

Ok so I have tried it near 100 times, no lie. I have gotten a sun, tree, crystal and every other dragon you can think of breeding on the island and the cave. FINALLY this morning I got the emerald crystal on left at level 15 and lichen on right at level 13, in the breeding cave. Don’t give up people cause u will get it! I never thought I would cause I have tried near 100 times but I’m happy I finally got it…

Have a gem tree and six gems to give away today. Can’t give them to my established friends because I gave to them yesterday and b/c of DV’s stupid one gem every other day max rule, I can’t hook them up today. The first six people who add me and send one gem will receive one in return. I won’t accept adds after the first six.
Also finally got an Emmy after about 50 tries. Crystal 10 L, Lichen 11 on R, EBI.

I got mine w Crystal L10 on left and Lichen L10 on right.. It’s been giving me a moon a blue fire a sun and 2 emerald dragons.. ADD ME I need friends to trade gems with I have a gem tree too!

I’ve tried over 40 times, I swear, with no luck… I’ve had quake, tree, lichen, crystal, seaweed, mountain.. It’s so annoying!!! Any tips at all? I havnt even had a rainbow or sun/moon.. :c
Me neither I’ve been trying since it came out every day over and over again haven’t gotten any rare dragons not sun, moon or emerald I’m getting frustrated.
Hope you have hadsec success since you poste this if not i got my first one with crystal on left lichen on the right both level 10. Then no success after several attemps. I got second one with crystal right lichen left both level 14. But both times it was in the early morning hours 3:30 am and after 1:00 am
I have been trying to get the emerald since it came out and finally just got it after at least 4 tries daily! Just before I got it I bred two other dragons completely ie lightening and earth (as some times new dragons work better), i sped up the breeding with my saved up gems then I tried a quake and lichen, failed then back to my original combo crystal lvl 11 vs lichen lvl 11.. All on the regular breeding island!!

Hey I got a Emerald dragon!! I tried 14 times and I got it on the 14! I got a moon dragon from it and I got a Sun from it.
I bread Lichen + Crystal and got it. Going for second!

this is bullcrap my hibernation cave has 25 failed offspring moss dagons cactus dragons storm dragons a mountain dragon another lichen dragon swamp dragons…25 tries and never got an emerald nver ever got a moon or a sun or a rainbow from this or any other combo ever. i tried the crystal on the left first i tried the lichen on the left then i keep trying and trying all month long and never get it!
Obviously it’s not bullcrap u idiot because it has worked 4 so many people.?
Finally i got my second emerald dragon The first time i got it with level 10 crystal on the left and level 10 lichen on the right. Then after many many mant unseccessful attemps i tried level 14 crystal on the left and level 14 lichen on the right. In the next 31 hours aa emerald egg. Good luck guys hope this helps
Hey guys i just thought of something after reading all your comments. Someone asked what time if day. I just realized i got my first emerald first try at 3:30 am. I got my second at a little after 1:00 am. I had tried with no seccess during the day. Maybe its a time of day factor too.
I put Lichen and Crystal in the breeding cave hoping for a Sun or a Moon but it’s less then 48 hours. So I think I got me an Emerald on my first try! It says 01:06:44:00 now.
The month of May s almost over… and I still haven’t got my Emerald Dragon.
I have been trying to the emrald dragon since it started, keep using lichen and crystal, keep having to wait 24 hours because I keep getting crystal. My dragons are level 20 or higher and I’m getting nothing. Grr.
Also, I have the gemstone island, and i’m level twenty-nine.

I got moss using crystal on the right and lichen on left three times in a row now it says thirteen hour breeding time so its someting different
