I got a rainbow dragon using this combo at the EBI. Then I tried the combo at the breeding cave and got the ruby dragon. 🙂
haha exactly the same 😀 Got 2nd rainbow with this combo though.
I used a level 9 scorch on the left and a level 8 chrome dragon on the right and I got a ruby on my first try

I have had zero luck with this combo. All I seem to get are Fireworks dragons lol. Been churning them out like crazy.

I can’t get the Ruby, I’ve tried about fifty times, using both EBI and BC using two sets of Scorches and Chromes, even tried throwing in different ones to reset the breeding and I can’t get it, I really want the dragon, I even bought the ruby sculpture thing hoping it would help, any tips to improve my chances?
Yes I have a tip but i have to tell you how I did that: I leveled up my chrome dragon so it was level 8, then I leveled up my scorch so it was level 9 then I tried about 5 or 6 times the I got exited and checked the time on my next breed an it was this: 1:06:59:59 then you know it is a RUBY dragon because the time was exactly 31 hrs. So also if you want more breeding tips from me then just ask and if you want to add me then I also have to tell you that I am a 11 year old girl and whenever I get the chance I will give you a gem but all you really need to know is that you have to add me on game center because I am too young for Facebook so hear is my game center ID: ~.kait.~
All my dragons are level 10 with a few plant hybrids being higher. I level dragons up as soon as I hatch them.

Before I even started breeding, I bought
11 Ruby sculptures and got it on my first
try. I can’t seem to get another one though.
What is the Ruby sculpture and how do I get one? I am on level 21, and I don’t see it.
It took me a long time to get a Ruby egg, I did the same thing having two sets of Chromes and Scorches going, and I also bought the ruby decorations (finally just got my first one). Just keep trying, good luck.
I still have free gems to give daily. I’m at Level 28 with a Dragonsai tree.

I’ve done chrome and scorch since its turned July basically and I still don’t have one. All I get is fireworks and sonics. My brother got one in about 20 tries. It’s his first gemstone dragon. I have a pearl and an emrald and I really want a ruby to have a third gemstone dragon. I need some help!!!!!!!

Even with my EBI it doesn’t seem to me any possible to get my Ruby and my Sun or plasma or rainbow or panlong any help on that?, I cannot deal anymore with firework eggs. Everything you bred you get one, can they be gone by now!!

Just got it!!!! Yay!!!!!!!! Scorch then chrome both lvl 10 and made young in fountain on breeding island!!! Yay after selling a gazillion fireworks!!!

Getting so aggregated with the firework dragons. I am officially up to 32 of them and still no ruby dragon. Please tell me there is some other combo besides chrome and scorch.

I could have sworn I’ve just bred 500 of them firework dragons, and I still can’t get the blooming ruby! Proving I be the toughest so far. Currently using Level 11 Chromes and Scorches :/

Yay! After 20+ fireworks, 5+ chromes and blazing, and a forge I’m breeding a ruby dragon! Ha! I almost hated the fireworks dragon.
Ok so I’m level 19 in dragonvale I do not have the
Epic breeding cave. On my first try to acquire the ruby
Dragon chrome level 8 and scortch level 10 and I got 3

Do you know exactly what time was when you breed them? I did breed 4 moons and all of them was exactly at the same time. Sure enough the computer program to breed them has time frame for them!
It doesn’t matter what I am trying to breed, cannot seam to get rainbow, sun, panlong, ruby or any special one besides moons, many of them!
Well, after breeding the Chrome and Scorch dragon on the Epic Breeding Island for over about fifteen tries, I have finally established getting the Ruby dragon… However, this sixteenth try has occurred on the notorious Breeding Cave (irony never ceases to amuse me), lol! I am now trying to establish getting the Malachite dragon, which seems more arduous to get than the Ruby dragon right now, lol! If anyone would like to add me as a friend and trade for gems, then I would not at all hesitate in accepting the friend requests. Thanks!:D

Been trying all month for either ruby and gold, just got two gold same day on both epi and bc. Now I have to wait 48hrs until I can breed again. Is Chrome and Scorch the only combo? I seem to have a crapload of fireworks and forge dragons now. Add me as StattikBlade and gems sent for gems recieved.

Hi, I bred a chrome and scorch and on my first try I got a scorch dragon (:P). On my second try, it said the mating time is 48 hours. I know it’s a seriously high chance of being gold (Gold can be bred by scorch and chrome, and its breeding time is 48 hours), but is there any chance of it being ruby???
RUBY is 31 hrs.
Tried breeding this combo for 15 days back to back breeds in the cave and on the island. I leveled up both pairs to lvl 15 and have now just breed my 3 ruby dragon.
