That will just get you a sun.I also tried breeding sun with Solstice and got anothe rsun. sort of like how a New Year’s Dragona nd aRainbow can breed, but they give you a rainbow, not a New Year’s Dragon.

I AM SOOOO MAD!!! For 3 reasons… 1.) I NEVER GOT AN EMERALD DRAGON!!! 2.) I HAVE BRED TO GET PEARL 179 TIMES!!! 3.) I HAVE BRED FOR SOLSTICE 56 times all I get is 8 hours!!!
Ps: I am not mad @ u just the fact I can’t get them with these combos…. Any other suggestions???
Haha that’s just how dragonvale works. I got peatland emerald within my first 5 tries and just got the solstice my first freaking try!!! Haha I’m so happy!

Which order?
Have you tried breeding with just level 10 dragons to make the gemstone dragons? I tried way more times then I dare count to get the emerald dragon. I finally got a emerald dragon but it was only after I switched to breeding only level 10s.
You have to think logically about the best way to breed these dragons. Of course you need the right combination of dragons and this sight has had the right ones. You also need the right level. As long as a person is level 11 or higher they can breed the gemstone dragons but no dragonvale islands at level 11 have higher then level 10 dragons. Therefore, try breeding just the level 10 dragons and wait for the results.
P.S. it wouldn’t hurt if you bought the decorations specific to the dragons in order to “attract them” to your park.
Like the pearl in oyster and the sun stones? Will that actually help??
Tried three times.. No luck. Bought sun stones, then set mud & blazing to breed.. Voilá.. Success

I have had luck breeding emerald and pearls when I use dragons that are equal in levels
Hey! Addin certian decorations will help improve ur chances of breeding certian dragons… For example, I tried breeding a solstice dragon to no avail… Until I bought the stone thing from decorations… I think they r called solstice stone but I bought 3 of them and got a solstice dragon my first try after buying the stones!!!
Dude got solstice second try. Level 13 mud level 15 blazing. It’s that simple. The higher the level above level 10 the higher chance of getting it. Add me AlphaSniper597 is my game center. Upgrade shrines. Also have a gem tree.

Probaly a lie mud and blazing wouldn’t work I’ve tried to get analog but it didn’t work so it wouldn’t work for this but that is just what I think also how do you breed panalog

You probably looked at the amount of gems it took. I did the same thing but it was actually 23 and a half.

I tried blazing – mud got 48 hours and i don’t have enough gems to speed up. There goes some valuable solstice breeding time.
if you got 48h, at least you got something good! i haven’t gotten any rare dragons yet..
Maybe it is good, but the rare dragons are around forever and the solstice is limited.

Foiled again. Though I managed to get one of each gem, this one is something else, ah well, few days before the summer solstice. Knowing my luck I’ll get it the day of, no earlier.
Managed to get another Panlong out of it though, shame I already have 3.

Wow some people have a hard time getting the solstice dragon. I have two in my nursery waiting to hatch. I got the first solstice on my first try. I too got solstice on my 1st. try and I have never experienced the likes of yesterday and I wouldn’t want to. You guys were all awesome and the happiness had an infectious appeal . I remember mud and blaze, went to my epic centre and punched in the names and through the excitement I thought just maybe I had gotten it but I have the updated one and the times weren’t the same and I spent gems to see what I had gotten. those gems were well spent, but the egg is so beautiful I hate to open it.
That was a fixer upper that’s for sure and thank you everybody for an exciting day and for you too Gameteep.

I got emerald dragon with only two tries. Pearl dragon the first try. Solstice dragon I’m breeding just like one guy posted earlier “bought a couple of sun stones, then bred mud with blazing”. First try and it worked I’m waiting it
