How is that wrong you got a gold dragon while probably trying to get a malachite.
The best combination is considered Scorch/Chrome because it has a chance of getting:
Rainbow
Gold
Ruby

how come its a scorch and a chorme dragon that makes this gold dragon… i keep gettin this ruby dragon and rainbow but i just want at least 1 or 2 gold dragons… is that the only possible way to get a gold dragon? i know there has to be another way maybe

Hey Savage_95! After 11 breeding attempts I finally got a Gold Dragon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ???????????? I bred Chrome (level 10) and Scorch (level 13).

I have tried the chrome and scorch but keep getting fireworks, and Ruby. Tried forge and crystal but not getting 20 hours. I even have the upgraded cave and island.
Trust me keep using scorch and chrome ya I’ve gotten fireworks probably 20 times but did get two ruby and my first gold dragons from that combo as well…
I’ve been doing that same combo for two weeks. No ruby, no gold, nor rainbow. Really upset.

You are full of crap. There is no fire element in Earth– Chrome , so it is impossible to get a Gold Dragon from that combination.
It does not need to have fire and metal dumbass. And you are full of crap. That combo can work.
What is that building in the screenshot in the bottom right? The top looks like a purple crystal. I really want to know, someone please enlighten me.

I got it on my first try pairing with chrome on left lava on right which it was a fluke and I’m new to this game I accidentally want to breed ruby but instead it was gold funny heh!?

Lmao, I don’t know what’s wrong with your dragons, but I got the gold dragon with chrome and scorch the first try with the epic breeding island. Level ten dragons. Maybe you should play with your dragons more. Their probably pissed.

Fire and Metal. First try, 48 hours. No need for Chrome/Scorch. You end up with over 9000 fireworks when you do that.
24 hrs with fire and metal is forge. Nothing special.
why are people so interested in saying “haha mac U R wrong!!!1”
you either have the elements to make the dragon or not, mac gives you combos that have worked for him. what does he have to gain from lying? there are many combos that usually work for a dragon. since i’ve gotten this with fire and metal, i know for a fact that chrome/scorch will work (because the essential elements are present), however, it may not be the most efficient way to get the dragon.
everyone’s experience will differ, because you’re rolling dice when you breed.
someone might get this on their first try breeding a panlong with a magnetic. it all depends.

I used chrome and scorch and I got mine second attempt
Fire + metal..first time and i got it
I wish that they had never invented the Gold Dragon. Since Wednesday I gone through 490 gems dealing with the 6 or 7 Forge Dragons that I got. I got Forge Dragons with Chrome – Scorch, Flower – Brass, Fire – Metal, Malschite – Fire, and I do not even remember the other combinations because there have been so many Forge Dragons. The only positive from all this breeding was 2 Pollen Dragons.
Sunday morning I bought a new Fire Dragon . Bred the new Fire Dragon with the Malachite Dragon and got Flower, Poison, Forge. Bred my Metal Dragon (Level 10) with my new Poison Dragon (Level10) in the Epic Breeding Island and got Flower (1st attempt), Forge Dragon ( # 7 or 8, I have lost count, on the 2nd attempt) and Gold Dragon on the 3rd attempt. Bottom line—- 5 days, 568 gems, 7 or 8 Forge Dragons = one Gold Dragon.
I do this combination but then i keep getting a 24h incubation time which it a forge dragon since then i only have one ruby dragon.. Add my game center id : niczlaz gem for gem..
At least I got gold dragon with just fire+metal in EBI on 1st try.
After trying (cost about 400 gems) with flower+brass , flower+forge, chrome+scorch, poison+brass, poison+forge.
So weird and so simple just Fire+Metal, why don’t even think to try at beginning (lol).

I’m using the chrome/ scortch combo and I keep getting forge dragons plus it don’t help that I don’t have the EBI

I got it at first try using chrome and flower dragons, because chrome and scorch only gives me fireworks like a million time :-/ for those like me, try that combination ^^
i’ve gootton 3 rubies with chrome and scorch, hoping for a gold!
don’t just try scorch and chrome, i think that you have to breed a dragon early so not many people have used the combo, it gets harder and harder over time, it took me till june 22nd to breed pearl but i got ruby and emerald within three days from constantly breeding, for the gold dragon, try some new combos that are not as popular, randomly off the top of my head I’m thinking of mine and firework, you have to think of new combos. then you get a better chance. when i was trying to breed gold i was like “ok random combo” malachite and firefly, no one has said anything about it and what do you know, 48 hour breeding time!!! could be gold, moon, sun or rainbow and i believe those are all pretty good dragons!
