Flower and metal has been great, I’m like 2/4 and even if I miss, all I get are flower and poisons which both hatch quickly. Flower and metal is the best way to go, chrome and scorch will get you 137894478954 fireworks
I got a gold on my third try with the epic breeding island but now I have to play the waiting game now because I did chrome and scorch again and got a 31 hours even though I have two rubys

I’ve been tryin to breed gold since it came out I’ve made over 40 million off firework dragons so you do the math to how many that is. Anyway I put both my scorch and chrome in the fountain of youth and made them both young and then breed them and out of the first 7 tries, 2 came out gold dragons! Also I switched order each time, chrome scorch and them scorch chrome. I hope it works for you guys that have been struggling as well.

Yes I got gold after I bred 34fireworks but luckily u can’t breed them anymore
Brass and plant has a better chance at breeding a gold dragon than any other combination, 16.6666666…, or 1/6
Never mind, metal and fire has a 1/3 chance of breeding gold
METAL + FIRE = GOLD 1/3 OF THE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tired forever with the scorch and chrome. Just like everyone else, I got five million fireworks. But with a chrome and forge, I got a gold dragon my first two tries. Hope it helps you guys too 🙂

I’ve been breeding Chrome & Scortch for the Ruby….I bred only one but about a bajillion Fireworks….For the Gold I bred (L)Metal 10 & (R)Sakura 11 in the EBI… about three days ago. If you read the description of the Gold dragon, it mentions that he came to steal the gold at nite. I put my dragons in the breeding island after midnight. I just did this same combo last nite…still waiting on 48 hr incubation…could be another Gold or RB,S,or M.

Wooh! Finally got a Gold dragon BOTH at the same time using both a lv.10 Chrome and Scorch! Now I can breed all the Gold dragons I want. If only we could trade dragons for gems in game. Doubt it would happen, but still wishing! 😀

i got the gold dragon on my first try with brass/cold dragons both lv.10 and then on my 5th try i got another gold dragon with the same combo. brass/cold i hoped this helped u guys out

Chrome and Scorch works got it the first try and now I’m breeding nothing but gold with that combo.
Thank god fireworks is over lol. Well ruby will be a hit or miss only because it’s rarer than gold.
If you want proof add me michaelraytarded21 I have 2 gold hatched 1 on display and 5 sold lol.
One more thing, my nephew barely started with this game and in need of help. I showed him how to do

I had placed the flower dragon in the fountain of youth before breeding. Not sure if that helps…but it’s worth a try.
I finally got one with various combos of brass and blazing. I had tires the flower metal combo…. Nothing for days as well as the fire and metal nothing for days and the chrome and scorch nothing!
So… Thank You thank you thank you whoever figured out brass and blazing…. It took seven tries
Also, I have no idea how to add people to give gems… It only shows three people…
Magnetic and blazing both in fountain of youfh gives you gold dragon

Chrome and scorch got me a 48 hrs incubation time after soooo many tried on the EBI. One day have passed. Just now I breed Metal and Flower dragon for a second try (kinda hope for a Malachite) in a reg breeding cave and got another 48 hrs incubation. I’m not sure what it will come out but pretty exciting! I love DV. Thanks Doc and friends 😀
