The 1st Egg is the DragonVale Malachite Dragon Egg (very slight variation to the Willow Dragon egg pictured 3rd)

when the solstice dragon came out i didnt breed it but tryed it once and checked by dragonvale the same day i 1 had one in my incubation area, same thing happened to me me when the leap year came out..

This is not true, you cannot breed Metal and Plant.

I did it with metal and flower and I got a 48 hour incubation time? Anyone else get the same and can tell me what it is?

It is so annoying how everyone writes that they got it their first time. No one cares if you got it your first time. We only care what combination you used.
Thank you! I’ve been trying to get the Ruby Dragon for ages & have ended up with about 30 Fireworks Dragons. Seeing “I have 5 of them” or “I got it on the first try” has me wanting to punt my phone across the room.
Ohmigosh YES. I’ve tried since day one to get a ruby dragon and haven’t gotten one yet!!! It’s so frustrating,PLUS it seriously doesn’t help when people keep saing “I got one!! ” it makes me that much more aggravated.
Well I FINALLY just got one. After all the billion tries, turns out, keep using SCORCH and CHROME until you get it right. Its better chances if you use scorch first. Takes forEVER but worth it in the end. 🙂

I know I have been trying for a ruby since the beginning of July, and my 4 yr old grandson does anything to breed and got one. I think I finally got one though, 31 hrs in the breeding cave now, just one more hour too confirm when I can see the egg.
What annoys me the most is the constant “add me on game center” stuff, there should be a seperate page for that right? By the way Scorch and chrome does work the best. Got it on my 12th or 13th try. Don’t give up because the variety of eggs you end up with can usually be sold for like 1,150,000 coins and make you rich really fast…
I agree! I never got the solstice dragon and tried every stinkin day on bc and ebi! Only ones i ever got on the first try were the few at the beginning when first started this addicting game.
Rubys fucking chrome and scorch
If it makes you feel any better i got about 35 firework dragons before my ruby, then trying for gold i got another ruby 🙂

Understandable. Extremely frustrating! I have tried chrome an scorch and the reverse, many, many times. So much so, that I then tried every other combo that people were throwing out there. No Ruby. No Gold. I finally went back to the original, Chrome and Scorch, on both the epic breeding island and the breeding cave. Eureeka! Finally got both, Ruby and Gold! Moral, no short cuts, just patience… I am however eternally grateful that the Firework dragon is gone!
I have found that if you’ve been breeding the same combo, to switch up what level you use. For instance, I would add a level 10 chrome to level 12 scorch (to get a ruby). I also tried to not use the exact same two every time I tried. Not sure if it matters but it’s worth a shot.
I just tried again for the millionth time for malachite, and tried plant (lv 10) and iron (lv 12). Breeding time is 9.36 (in the sanctuary). May be worth a try.
Guys if you check in the metal section malachite is avalibale to buy for 50 gems

On dragn calc it says you can breed plant with metal is that even possible?

Ramona, open up gamecenter. Under Requests, click on “add friends”. In the “TO” section, type the username. Then hit send. They will approve you when they have a moment.

Ravi, just saying, the metal and flower combination is forge. 24 hrs is definitely forge.
I got 12hrs with iron-flower, think its malachite!!
I got one with metal and swamp. It works very well. I got it on my second try.
I also got mine with metal and swamp first try! I tried metal, will and metal, flower at least 30 times before this worked!
