To breed a peridot dragon you’ll need a sandstorm and a blue fire.Un likely.

what’s loopholes?
a loophole is sort of sneaky way around something that otherwise youd’d be stuck with… it is also a way OUT of something …it’s usually a means of escape or evasion;or opportunity of evading a rule or law. If you find a loophole you can get out of whatever the sitch is … 🙂 hope that helps
Agreed. But if the September dragon is hideous, I’m filing a complaint. Hey, wouldn’t that be awesome if I got a peridot dragon on my birthday, and got a whatever the next dragon is called dragon the day afterwards? Yes, I am too lazy to look up the September birthstone. What can I say? I’m on an iPad.

It’s not Backflip Studios’ fault that you have the lamest birthstone for your birth month. And btw the peridot dragon is way cuter than the pearl dragon… The pearl dragon looks like an old woman with curlers in her hair… Peridot is so much cuter than Pearl so quit your whinging.

Oh, c’mon, it’s not that ugl- wow that thing is nasty looking. Still cooler than most, but way worse than the rest of the gemstones…does it come out at exactly 12:00?
And my birthday is in 30 days. That’s right. August 31. I’m pretending I have a bot august and september birth day. hey, at least all my girl gemstone dragons will have someone to flirt with… MWAHAHAHA!!!
As soon as I find out what it is I will post it and the running rumor all over the place so far is that IRON will def. be involved in the breeding 😉 that is completely UNCONFIRMED at this point though- but Im in NY and will post the SECOND I find out if it’s not already posted 😀

Lava should be one of the dragons as the peridot is found in lava . Just a guess

Ok, I’m in the U.S. it is 7:30am central time…..the ruby dragon is still in my market. I have sitting since 6am breeding the suggested combos a dragonvale.net…..decided to check the market. Have, I have been wasting time (and Gems!)….it’s not out yet?
Yes, you are wasting your time. You can still breed a Ruby if you need it, but until the Peridot hits the store, you can’t breed it, so save your gems.

I have more rubies than I need lol. I have more EVERYTHING than I need…..I should have looked in the market straight away…..this is stinky. I WANT that friggin dragon.
BFS probably wont release it until this afternoon- so don’t believe anyone who claIms to have the Peridot dragon what they most likely have is the highly common Exaggerator Dragon LOL or maybe the Super common ImFullOfBaloney Dragon 🙂 😉

According to dragonvale.net the best combos for breeding rhe peridot are:
– Dragonvale lava dragon combined with dragonvale fog dragon
– Dragonvale iron dragon combined with dragonvale evergreen dragon
– Dragonvale lava Dragon with Dragonvale malachite dragon
Again, one of those might very well work, however, there have never been multiple combos before for gem dragons, and it looks like they are just guessing.
Until they post an egg shot, I’m not buying it. Trial and error folks! Let’s get cracking!

Also, the Peridot is not even out for ATTEMPTING to breed yet, so Dragonvalenet is just screwing with you. Check back in a week and see if they haven’t changed their answer to whatever the REAL answer ends up being. All we *know* is the right combo will PROBABLY combine 4 different elements, and have the potential to give a Rainbow dragon too. But there will certainly NOT be 3 working combos. There will be ONE.

I have seen reports of people getting it with evergreen and iron dont know if it’s true but it’s worth a try add me for a gem for gem I will send every single day trust me add calebqueen96
I’m seeing the same…..my market is still showing ruby……and the FB page has not been updated…..and none of the users on there have reported getting one. There are no egg pics up either…..and I would expect to see tons of them. I am ready to get cracking…..but, I’m not greeting any sound proof of anything except that I can still buy a ruby egg.
To breed a peridot dragon you’ll need a seaweed and iron.

There is no proof one way or the other about ANYTHING, and you can’t even TRY to get one yet.

Well I just tried it and didn’t get but my brother tried and he got it using iron and evergreen

I’m in CA and last month the new dragon didn’t show up until around 9:00am. It’s only 7:30am here. It’s a waste of time and gems to start anything until the dragon is actually released. Anyone who says they have the combo already is either full of bs or a beta tester who is breaking their NDA. (and they usually don’t do that).

Besides you can breed dragons before their in the store I saw a picture on this site of the malachite dragon before it was in the store
the combination is lava and ironn because peridots are found in lava and get the intensity of their green because of their iron content
That one at least makes sense. It seems that all gemstone dragons are a combination of something about where they’re found, and something that has to do with their appearance. Like the pearl- snow for appearance, seaweed for ocean. Ruby- scorch f I’m calling it right now, diamond uses crystal.

So Lava plus a Metal Hybred Dragon because it is unlocked at 17.
