Dudes, Im upset. I’ve been trying to breed peridot the whole month so far and all I keep getting are frikken crystals. So I get on my sisters like she tells me not to and I breed her crystal and cactus, she’s only level 15, and guess what! I got her a peridot!!!!! Sigh… The dragons were both like level 4s! Grrrr…
I too am at lvl 15 with mine. Have upgraded everything. Breeding around the clock for a Peridot using both lvl 15 Cactus to Crystal and spending gems and ALWAYS getting Crystal eggs. Took one of the newly hatched crystal and lvld it to only 13. FIRST try of the 15 to 13 I got it in the epic cave! Good luck!
What time of day/night did you breed it?… I think that has something to do with it, because I got two rubys within 30mins of eachother

I bred a Peridot dragon on my third try w/ cactus/crystal, in that order.
Add kowalab3ar and give him 20gems straight and he will give you 20,000 gems it’s a good deal

I have tried 30 times…..still no Peridot. I also got many many crystals. I am getting sick of this.
Me too!! I tried so many times I lost count and just finally got it with the crystal cactus combo on Epic… This morning…I did take a two day break ??? If that helped but I was very frustrated.. I wish you luck…
I tried many times, then finally I got it. I found out the timing is very important. I breed Peridot @655am to almost 7am and I got it….. Wish u luck!!!

I’m so frustrated with rainbow and peridot I’ve been trying to breed both since the beginning of the month. I’m using
Firefly+seaweed for Rainbow
Cactus+Crystal for Peridot
Probably a dozen trys now on both and nothing. half of the month is over so i’m hoping i can get two before the end of the month … so frustrating this game.
I think i read a post if you try 20 times with same combination that it will be given – is this true or just a theory?

I don’t know. I tried to get an Olympus dragon for the past 2 weeks and got nothing so I can’t get any for two more years until winter olympics!!

I got lucky with the Olympus dragons except for the silver one. Got them after my fifth try with Blazing and Crystal. Hopefully, the Peridot will be as easy to breed.

Finally I’ve got 31 hours incubation 🙂 I kept trying Crystal and Cactus over and over and I only got Crystals and Tree dragons but my 13th try succeded – happy!

Yay! Finally got Peridot after my 5th try… can you only have one of these dragons? It’s still showing as a purchasable egg in the market, so I wasn’t sure… 😛

Kea, you can have as many as you can get. The only limitation for the Gem Dragons is that you can only have a total of 12 on your Gem Island. I have 2 Emerald on my Island and 1 Egg on display, 3 Pearl on my island and 2 Eggs on display, 3 Ruby on my Island and 2 Eggs on display and so far 3 Peridot on my island and 2 Eggs on display with another on the way. Just keep trying.. 🙂
There are 12 spots because there are 12 months. Each gem dragon is the birthstone for each month if i recall correctly

At this time I’m breeding catus and crystal in both breeding caves and yet still nothing this has got to be the worst success ratio so far…………….. I’m desperate just to get one will be a miracle
Cmon guys can someone please tell me what difference it makes if one dragon is placed in the fountai of youth ??
Yeah it messes with the breeding. Like if ur breeding a lvl 10 bla with a level 10 blah (but this BLAH went thru the fountain of youth) the “BLAH” is like a little lvl 1 dragon. Keep all ur dragons big, the fountain of youth is kinda just to make em cute…which I totally agree they are(:

I was trying to get OLYMPUS dragons n my friend said she used PANLONG/CRYSTAL. Well I never got the OLYMPUS but everytime I did get a RAINBOW. just wanted to share that, seems like a lot of people are having a hard time getting one.

I tried to get Olympus with crystal/blazing and quake/willow and got mostly quake and crystal, and no Olympus. I have heard that a) olympus dragons are only available during olympics and b) that Olympus dragons are available all the time. Which one is right? Because I really want olympus dragons.
Also I have bred cactus and crystal for peridot and only got moss, quake, and crystal. Very dumb!!
