I got it. The level 10 rain dragon goes on the left and the level 10 mountain dragon goes on the right. My rain dragon was a baby by the way. That might help!!!
I have tried at least a dozen times so far for the sapphire and nothing. I can never seem to breed the rare ones no matter how many times i try. Am I doing something wrong or am I really that unlucky??
Me too not happy getting fed up with this game, why are some of them so hard an it don’t matter which way you put them
Any luck yet? I breed two more rain dragons, 2 ice, an iceberg, then a rainbow which suprised me, followed by a mud and another iceberg. Was getting fed up, put them in again and got 30 hour breeding time. Must b a sapphire at last 😀 u just gotta keep trying

I did rain+mountain and got a rainbow dragon.did it the second time and got sapphire!!! I’m feeling really lucky right now.(rain on left and mountain on right.both lvl 10.)

Also, is there a specific time to breed the rain and mountain because with last month (peridot) it had specified times (6:40 am) and specified positions (rain on the left)

I had the same problem as everyone else, with getting kicked out when i go into friends., but i plugged into my computer and synced it on itunes… Im not sure if there was an update… But it fixed it, i can get back into friends now without being kicked out of the app.

Is there a place where u can see which friend sent u gems? Theres a notification for 2 seconds then its gone and i dont always see it. I want to return the favor but i have 30 friends so i cant just guess… Any ideas? Thx!

OMG this worked! Got the rainbow on first try and sapphire is on the way with my second try.
Definitely put Rain (Lvl 10) on left +Mountain(Lvl10) on right.

Do you remember at what time did you breed it? Because as the guy mentioned, time does matter. I’ve been trying over and over and havn’t got it. I won’t stop until i have it but it would be cool if I got it sooner than later. Thanks

Mountain on left (lvl 12) rain on right (lvl 11) and I got a breeding time of 39 hours in the upgraded regular breeding cave… Wonder what it will be!!?

Yup i can confirm, my two level 10 Mountain and Rain dragons got the 30 gem breeding time and produced a Sapphire dragon – additionally this was at the breeding cave. And a few hours before Fog and Flower produced a Rainbow. Lucky day!

I have tried at least 15 time with rain/mountain and have gotten 3 rains, 2 ice, 1 iceberg and 2 mud and other dragons. I am extremely annoyed. Also, when I try to open friends list, the game crashes. Does anyone know how to fix this? I know some of you guys have this problem too so we need help.

So, what do I have to do? I have a rain dragon (adult) and I have a mountain dragon (also adult) both level ten. I always breed them in the EPI (epic breeding island) with the mountain on the left. Am I doing something wrong?
Try rain first. Other than that idk wat would help. There r multiple variables w breeding. Try it at barious times of the day or by switching the rain for another lvl 10 rain
I tried it like 100 times now…. on breeding cave and island – but no luck 🙁
I also had no luck with the Peridot dragon last month, I’m getting crazy!!!

I got a 24 hour breeding time with rain + mountain in the upgraded breeding cave. Given the reduced time, could this be the 30-hour incubation time for the sapphire? Thanks!

I just got 30 hours with mountain lvl 10 and rain lvl 10 – got a feeling it’s a sapphire even though I was trying for blue moon… 🙁 its my first gem dragon so I should be happy… Add me longlegz2 gem for gem – i play every day…
Don’t worry, pal. You got all weekend to get that moon dragon, and it’s been 7 hours since you got that 30 hour breeding time. I believe you have untill monday at 12am to breed a blue moon dragon, So you might be able to attempt it Saturday evening! (:
I got the moon dragon on the first attempt with Blue Fire and Crystal dragons (On the breeding island) So no worries! I’m sure you’ll get it.

I got blue moon first try with blue fire and crystal as well on epic island.
I got two blue moon dragons. One with blue fire and crystal. The other with blue fire and quake.
This dragon is a blue moon the same thing happened to me! I was stoked for my first gem dragon then came to find my 30 hours was really a blue moon. So you did get a blue moon.:)
I got 2 blue moons with sonic/iceberg in the regular cave
Try fire and storm if you want blue moon. Got 2 with that combo.,
I used firefly and storm for my blue moon. I had to do it about six times. But they were all only 3 hour waiting periods so it went fast. Took half a day 🙂
