Tried rain and mountain so many times! Just got something like a 45hr wait now… Does anyone know what it might be? Add caitopayno for gems. 🙂

when i was trying to get a sapphire dragon, i used a mauntain and a rain and got 48 hours breeding time. i got a rainbow dragon. and i asked someone, and they told me that the only epic dragon we can get with sapphire combo, is a rainbow dragon. So congrats :)))) looks like u are getting a rainbow

I know how you feel. I missed out on Paradot last month. My BDay is the 21st. Keep trying with Rain and Mountain. It seams hopeless, but it will happen. I just got one after I don’t know how many tries (in the cave AND on the island). We still have more than half a month to go. I’ll be trying for a 2nd Saphire soon.

Nice impulse control. It’s hard to save Gems like that without spending them. I’m not very good at the track myself so I use the colosseum !? I just gave my gems for the day, sorry. 🙁

I bred a level ten lightning with a level ten iceberg and got a 30 hour breeding time. Any idea what this is??

I don’t think you can do fog mountain
Since gem dragons have a specific breeding combo restriction
Its better stick around with rain and mountain 😀

I have bred rain and mountain seriously 30 times and I can’t get sapphire!!!!! I even have the updated breeding cave!!! I’m bummed…. 🙁

The gem island only holds 12 one for each month, just keep that in mind if you want them all 🙂
I’m planning on displaying a Saphire egg. There is always the hibernation cave if you have multiples.

I’m working on my third Sapphire dragon. One or two for me and one egg for display. 🙂
What combo did you use and which one did you use first?
I have three also, and I switched up the combos. I used Lv10 Mountain (left) and Lv10 Rain (Right).
I have tried constantly each month to get the gem dragons and I haven’t even got one. I’m sue there is something wrong with my game
I don’t know if this really makes a difference- but I bred like crazy in August trying to get a peridot, with no luck. And I spent a lot of real $$ trying to hurry with gems near the end… Anyhow, I finally invested in the epic breeding cave & gemstone island. I was trying again for the blue moon before time ran out, (I was so mad I even emailed the company) & I had given up, but I just incubated 2 blue moons in a row!! I don’t know if owning those islands helped (or my letter) but it’s worth a try. 🙂 and feel free to add me. I keep track of who sends gems. (ID: shannonlbell)
Not for me :(. I have the EBI for 3 weeks and still don’t gain a single rare dragon. No sun, moon, pan long, rainbow, gold, silver, Olympus, gem stone, etc… I can’t even get blue fire, dodo, plasma, etc with the combos suggested. I seem stuck with the regular combos only… It is quite frustrating to see Sooo many gain these “rare” dragons so easily and in multiples.
I think the blue moon was just easy to get..I only tried three times and got two of them one in cave and one in island.. But can’t get sapphire.. 🙁
I tried rain and mountain dragons at the epic breeding island but it did not work I am trying it with the breeding cave now

Really struggling with this one. Got two blue moon dragons first tries if anyone wants to get rare dragons but can’t get this one. Add me for gem trades. Classicad is gamer tag.
I an dying now! I have been trying to breed the sapphire every day since it came on the marked, but all I get is mountain, ice, mud, rain and iceberg! 🙁 I got the peridot on my third or fourth time, but now I have been trying for 11 days, and I have used a lot og gems… I really need to know if there are any other combos!
I finally got it!! It took 11 days of trying in both cave and island, a few times a day. I used level 15 rain (L) level 15 mountain (R) on the island. Stick with it you you’ll get it eventually.

I used the Mountain on the left and Rain on the right.

Dont feel bad. At least you guys have a rain dragon, I’ve bred fog and air and air and water I can’t even get it. Pretty sure I’ve made like 40 mil in gold just trying to get it >.<

Also, FINALLY got it today, first try with Rain and Mountain. It HAS TO BE THAT!!!! There is no other way, and Mountain and Rain don’t work. My GameCenter is Drangon3, and I’ll add you too!

Don’t know whether it helps anyone but I have found if u start the breeding round 10 p.m you are more likely to get the sapphire dragon, just something you might want to try. Good luck
