The 1st Egg is the DragonVale Paper Dragon Egg
Tried and tried. Wasted a lot of gems. Didn’t even realized it had expired.

Where did the black and gold stone monument pictured in the “egg looks like this” secton come from? Was I just too late to get it? I looked for it everywhere when I produced a paper dragon egg. Also, my gifting screne crashes within seconds of pulling it up. Do you know how to fix this? Thanks for this wonderful site!

Add me to the list of people who tried and tried but couldn’t get one…sigh. Stupid tree dragons ate up all my days. First limited dragon I’ve missed since I started playing.
Been playing dragonvale for ages I’m lvl 31… This dragon was a joke must of tried the poison mountain combo 50+ times no luck, also frostfire tree combo 30+ times, wasted around 200 gems, got 3 rainbows out of the poison mountain combo I got no rainbow and now no paper I’m the laughing stock of dragonvale
Try bone and reindeer I got if first try
Tried this (after wasting so much on the other combinations above) and it worked on my third try. Thanks so much for the tip!!! 🙂
Tried bone and reindeer combo, got a leap year dragon at first, but got paper dragon after 7th try. Thanks for the info! =)
bone and reindeer in the EBI is the way to go.
got it after a couple or three tries with a few others along the way.
keep going and u’ll def get it with this combo!!
My friends got 3 rainbows not me
dose any one know if you can still get a paper if you have one and try to bread it with any thing to get another paper or am i 100% out of luck. and lol i got the 1day and 5 hr with a rain and mountain. at 10pm on the 30th. i hope i get at lest one SAPPHIRE
Had enought of this game some dragons are impossable to get, gems and dragons cost way to much. no way am I spending any more on this game.

Is it possible to breed limited time dragons after the availability period is up if I have only one of the desired dragons?

you can only get another limited time dragon when the time is up by breeding the two dragons (that are the same) together hope this helps
i figured it out without looking it up and i breed blue fire\moss got one first try and then i got another one with the same combination and got another paper dragon without even getting any other dragon hope this helps next year!!!!

I did lichen and lava and is 10 hours what is it?
Could be a lava bone or sakura
unless have upgraded cave
If you breeding cave or island is upgraded, it might just be paper = )

I did it 3 times first one was flower second is glacier third is 16 hours to breed the flower took 1 hour incubation glacier is 1 hour 3rd is, well, 16 hours. I hope I get the paper. Wish me good luck. Crossing my fingers. &=

Paper will be 9 hr 36 minutes in an upgraded breeding cave or upgraded island.
Lichen & Lava did not work after 3 tries. Time to change.
I don’t have mountain or bluefire but I have tree and poison lava and lichen I really need paper dragon I hope I get it I hope I hope unless someone tells me how to breed mountain or bluefire plz
Mountain is earth and cold or earth and snow. I did earth and cold and got it first try. Hope that helps. :3
Wait, do I have to have to have an upgraded breeding cave to breed the paper dragon? If so, I’m screwed. 🙁 if u have to have an upgraded breeding cave 🙂 if u dont
Upgraded breeding cave/breeding island is NOT necessary for breeding, even when it comes to rare dragons. Although, having the upgraded breeding facility helps with reducing breeding times, therefore giving you more chances to breed any given dragon that is on a short availability time frame by giving you roughly 20% more available breeding time.
The 16 hour breeding time finished and it is the ghost 🙂 I’m still trying with lichen and lava wish me good luck
🙂 It is very rare, but you can get special dragons through the regular cave.

Oh mah frikeh gawd, I tried mountain and poison (in the REGULAR breeding cave) and I got 48 breeding time! What?!? I think it is a rainbow dragon! But in the REGULAR breding cave? By accident?
First try with reindeer and bone!
OMG mountain and poison gave me a 12 hour! don’t what it is yet, I’ll fill in later 🙂

Perplexa you star! One dragon I have really struggled to get. Tried bone and reindeer in both habitats got it second time in small breeding cave. Woo hoo!

I got flower three times in a row with gift and earth in normal breeding cave…really annoying, but at least it is only an hour gone…

Bone and reindeer work. I got it first try after wasting 324 gems on poison and mountain trying to get the paper! BONE AND REINDEER ARE THE BEST!!!!!
I got it on the first try using reindeer and pan!ong on epi!
Did poisen and mountain got a ghost was pretty pleased though

Wow Good call with using bone and reindeer. I did Bone (Left) + Reindeer (R) and got a Paper dragon on the first try. Confirmed by using gems and tried the same combo again and i got a Gift Dragon. Definately alot quicker than my first paper dragon… I remember that one taking 25+ tries

On my 5th try using bone and reindeer I got a gift dragon! Incubation time was 12:25. I didn’t know you could breed it. On my next try using this combo I did get paper.

I breed together a lvl 15 mountain with I lvl 15 poison in the epic breeding island and got 12.25 I don’t want another gift dragon add me gem for gem and sorry if I don’t get you your gem whenever I go into the list of friends I get back into my home page and it freezes as I try to find the friend that I want a gem to give so yeah my game centre account is JoelCromo
i got blue fire first try by using mountain and fire both level 4 i used blue fire and poison got paper first try
SUCCESS!!!! I’ve been making it my business to get a paper dragon and it finally happened! Kept breeding lava and lichen in the breeding island and then blue fire and moss in the cave. I don’t even remember how many times it took for me to get it but it happened back to back and now I have two lovely paper dragons incubating! Hehe.

Could be a sun or moon dragon depending on the time of the day you started the breeding.
