How do you breed an seasonal dragon?

Think the same way you get a paper Dragon, multiple elements. Summer=fire, spring=water, fall=plant, and winter=cold. So you need two hybrids with that combination. I think I got mine with flower and mud. If that doesn’t work, look at the flag for seasonal and compare it to the other element flags to figure out the elements needed, and toss your favorite hybrids in.

When I hit the friends icon, it kicks me out of the game?! Is there a fix for this? Want to return gems.

Sapphire Dragon
I’ve tried 70 times (on multiple accounts) and am 0 / 70. Never had any real problems getting Gem dragons before. This is ridiculous.
I tried about 100 times for sapphire last month and didnt get it. I think its just luck

My patience ran out with sapphire…I bred literally 4times a day between my island and cave and no sapphire. Opal is looking the same so far.
In that case i think you’ll need double dose of patience for opal…. Hell i almost didnt sleep til i got my first..

Please don’t send requests to me for I can not send any gems to my friends on my list I still get booted out of the game 🙁 I’m sorry but I feel I wouldnt be fair for u to send me gems and I can’t reply back. You can’t add a gamecenter friend in Dragonvale. You have to go to the Gamecenter Application to add friends 🙂
I go into my gamecenter account to my friends list and touch the plus sign and add the players name and hit send. Since I can not access my friend list in dragonvalle that’s how I do it. I would love to add you to my friend list but I can not send gems 🙁

Yeah, I added you to swap gems awile ago and I’ve only received 1 in return. You don’t swap, you collect.
Got a 31 hour breeding time on the 10th or 11th try. Epic Breeding Island. Mud(L) and Lava(R), both Lvl 10’s (although I don’t think that matters nor does the order)

14th try every egg so far mud 🙁 lvl 10 lava & mud on island and lvl 10 lava & mud breeding cave what am I doing wrong iv not got a single gem dragon yet also all my dragons maxed out at lvl 10 some of u have lvl 15s is that because of my game lvl or something?
You need to get the shrines and get 50 of that type of dragon to lvl 10

Because gemstone dragons are RARE. Some people get lucky and get one on the first or second try but mostly its gonna take a lot of patience and time before you get one. Ive been trying for four straight days to get an Opal and i finally got it. Just be patient.
Agreed…. I too think patience is the key…go dragonvale-a-holics.
Got opal on 3rd try with lava x mud and then heard lava x ash was fast n easy to get more with. Then i got 48h on 2nd try with lava x ash… hope I don’t get another seasonal..

I’m about to get an Opal. I can tell cause I have to wait 31 hours before my dragons finish breeding. I did it with Lava and Mud. Both level 10 on the Breeding Island. It took 4 days of nonstop trying Lava and Mud but Im finally gonna get it. 😀 next Im gonna try and get a Sun Dragon to compliment my Moon and Equinox Dragons.

Doc , how can i view all the people who gifted me. I recieve 30 gem today and I have a prob returning gems coz i cant see who they are… and is there any upgrade on the drgonsai tree cos it usually 4 days b4 i can return those gifts back… And i dont wanna be called scummer coz im not. yeah, there’s no way to do that unfortunately. For me as well, it lists the first 5 or so people that sent me gems, then says “And others”.
so I try to just randomly click on people and send gems. It’s impossible to keep track of 500 friends.
