The 1st egg is the DragonVale Obsidian Dragon Egg
This one was pretty easy. Took 5 tries, Earth and Fire for the 1st one. Working on other combos, but odds are any fire hybrid/earth hybrid combo could get you him as well.

I was trying for Opal with lava/mud and got Obsidian. It was a nice surprise after all the mud dragons.
Also got with mud and lava.
Thank god. A break from the mud dragons. I have so many on pedestals, I think I have twelve. I also got a load of Lava too. Phew.
that seems to be the best combo for me cuz i got it 3 times and sold it twice using that combos (bothe mud and lava wet lv. 10, mud on left lava on right)

Obsidian is a lava rock with crystal formations. Just a thought

Didn’t see this new dragon until I bred the new ghost with bone dragon and got it.
Is this a forever dragon? And also does anyone have any good
ideas for the silver and silver olympus? Been breeding their little
tails off and haven’t even gotten close.

Try blue fire to metal…I did in breeding island BUT here is the catch!
I have gotten two and both successes were in the wee hours…like between 0100-0400

Got Obsidiab with Blazing + Lava.. I was trying to breed Solar elcipse Dragon..
Me and my mom were both trying for obsidian at the same time.
I used lvl 9 mud (left) lvl 9 lava (right) on the regular breeding cave.
She used lvl 7 fire (left) lvl 8 earth (right) on the regular beeedng cave.
We both got obsidian first try, woop!
use lava and water.got it on first try.
I got this a whole bunch of times trying to breed for a bluefire by breeding Lava and Cold. I thought it was strange that it just reversed the elements instead
