I had saved 108 gems and have used over 90 and finally got a 24hr dragon so hoping that this is the 1

Hey guys if u have 24 hours incubation it is not topaz sorry topaz is 30 hours
It is 24 hours on the ebi… 30 – 20% = 24
The topaz dragon isn’t 24hrs

just kept trying, I got mine after 10th try at the island with both level 10 baby CACTUS AND FIREFLY. I find it’s easier to get the dragon you want if you breed both dragon in adult form or baby form…and usually for me it works better if both are baby form. Good luck!

Woohoo! My first gem dragon! I’m glad I got this one so early…i never got the opal one and I tried every day ALL month. This one was on my fourth try 😉

I think he actually meant whatever dragon but the actual name it has. Ie: diver, ohm, Vesuvius.
I think the person ment Iron. It was the name the game gave my Iron dragon.
What dragon has a green see through egg blue outline large glowing eye 3 spikes on tail and wings for arms? Havent seen this one yet incubation time 18 hrs but can’t remember by breed something and an air I believe.

This is great because the other possible breeding result times are so short! 3hrs or 30mins! I can see most people being able to breed topaz which is good!
Unlike kairos which I had to play for a full three days to get -.-“

Topaz first try! Got with cactus and firefly around 6:30pm in Wisconsin. Used epic breeding island. Macenstein, thanks for all the tips for breeding! 🙂
Doc are you sure this combo is the ONLY way? I’m starting to think gemstone dragons are really hard to get.Been trying since August.
Got a 30 hour egg after about 5/6 tries, should be the topaz (my birthstone). Happy I got it even though a bit erked I didn’t get the opal even after trying all month.
Good for you I didn’t get the sapphire but now I’m going to get the topaz!

Mac I would greatly appreciate it if you looked into the eclipse dragon… New decoration says it can be bred. It’s not in market and cannot find anything online but fakes about it.

I just hate all of you writing: I had in first try, second try… etc ???? Its my 17 th time already and NOTHING.. good only the breeding timing is usually 30min or 1h ???????????? ????????????
It took me atleast 10 tries. Keep trying this combination works it doesn’t matter which side you put those two dragons. Left cactus right flygon vice versa.

Something I found is, I tried breeding 8 times on island then when put them in cave and bam got it, then when that hatched put it back on island and for it again. Hope that helps

I’ve got the cactus/firefly combo going in both breeding areas…so far the island has given me a cactus, 2 flowers and 2 poisons. The cave (upgraded) a flower. Am going to keep trying! Congrats to all who’ve gotten their Topaz, good luck to those of us who haven’t yet 🙂

Hey Doc, have you noticed the Umbral Sculpture in the Decorations? It mentions that it’ll signal when the Eclipse Dragon could be bred…any news?

Big time! I INLY get my gem dragons doing so…and oddly enough only using EBC. Ever since July, when I started the game.
Fountain of youth BOTH dragons (and don’t breed them in between). It has worked 4 me.
I m not as lucky as others…I have never gotten rare dragons on my first tries except moon

I heard about a new dragon, that is coming up, the Eclipse Dragon. Do you know anything about it and when it will be there?

breed during eclipses. next eclipse is nov13. easy peasy
Those are fakes but the dragon should be coming. I don’t see the incubation time being 96 hrs though. I really hope not. Would nearly eliminate the chance of getting an egg without gems.
Unless you have 2 moons and 2 suns and you get 2 breeding one in cave and one in ebi…(if that is how you would actually breed it)…? All the comments in the video says the video is fake too…but there is a total solar eclipse on nov 13, 2012. The 96 hr time would stink though cause it would make us lose 4 days of trying for topaz.
Woah! I never got a gem dragon so quickly CX only 5 tries with Cactus (level 12 left) and Firefly (level 12 right) used the epic breeding island

I GOT IT ON MY FIRST TRY WITH CACTUS ON THE LEFT(first) AND FIREFLY ON THE RIGHT(second) AT ABOUT 2:00 IN THE AFTER NOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM TYPING THIS WITH MY iPOD TOUCH. P.S.try getting your dragons as high as a level as possible, also try emptying the island that has the breeding cave in it or if you have E.B.I then empty the island that it is connected to, this will increase the rate of getting a rare dragon.. (Empty everything except for the egg nursory)
Also I am trying to be the first one to save gems up to one thousand(without buying or cheating) so please send me gems!!!!! My account name. JesusLover!
I got mine on my third try at about the same time too!!!! Cool!
I got mine breeding at 12:30PM today on the first try. Firefly (11) on the left and Cactus (10) on the right on the regular breeding island that is heavily populated by other dragons.
I got the sapphire one in September on the first try too.
It took me FOREVER to get the October one– 20 days and I don’t know how many tries and, even though I bought the EBI, it happened in the regular breeding cave. I think it’s all just probability.
I’m MsKannon; I give gems in level groups. One day I start at the lowest and each day I keep moving up. So I’m on like a four-day rotation.
