The 1st Egg is the Dragonvale Celtic Dragon Egg
I am getting the Celtic in my breeding island left is flower and he right is storm so try it Celtic is 17hours.
Oh Yeah Baby! Thanks so much! You rock Doc! I used the same combo in the breeding cave- upgraded (NOT EBI) got it 1st try. Didn’t get it yet in the EBI cave but will keep trying until I get my egg.
Flower left Storm right. DragonCalc app had the times for the upgraded cave. Great app if you don’t have it yet check it out it really helps with upgraded times .
I got it second try using the same combination in the epic breeding island! Yay
I got frustrated when I saw the ad for the Celtic dragon and seeing it lasted only for the weekend. I’m like Really DragonVale?? REALLY Im already tryin to get a clover AND an Aquamarine dragon (both having no luck) and you just gonna send out a very short limited time dragon REALLY!!
I used clover and storm first try on ebi
I tried 7 times with flower lv8 and storm lv7 , and it still doesnt work , fuck this world
So I’ve been lucky and I bred three aquamarine dragons. I’ve gotten the Celtic dragon and just for fun I bred the leap year dragon with the Celtic. Since they are both rainbow dragons. Is it possible to get a different dragon!? I was expecting to get either another leap year or Celtic, but I winded up getting a 48hr time. And I know that the leap year breeds in 15hrs and the Celtic in 17hrs….is it possible to get a sun or moon from two rainbow dragons?

I used this same combination, and got it the first time as well. in the normal breeding cave.
did u get it in the non upgraded cave? cuz i want one!!! and i cant upgrade it cuz i dont have the gems… but i still want one!!! i tried about 4 times already, so does anyone know what combo has the greatest chance of getting it?

Cactus and storm Don’t work
I got Celtic already and was wondering what the possible outcomes were if I bred Celtic with Leapyear or even Rainbow
I did Flower and Storm combo and i got the Celtic Dragon twice in a row!!! And it was on my 1st and 2nd try 😀
Got Celtic first try with level 15 cactus and level 15 storm in the EBI. Now to try for my second Celtic!
Cactus and storm also worked for my second Celtic. Good luck to all!

I did poison and storm and got a 48 hr breeding time. What could it most likely be????? Plz answer 🙂
Rainbow -16.5% chance best chance for that combo with 48 hour time. Get the DragonCalc app and you can check these for yourself.
It will be sun or moon but like it’s with storm most likely moon

Why isn’t Celtic Dragon and Clover Dragon showing up in my market? Is it because im only at Level 22?
The clover and Celtic didn’t show up on my daughter’s until she downloaded the update. Hope that helps.
I love all these entries about getting it after a few tries. Finally got celtic using flower and storm after more than 50 tries and using over 300 gems to rush breeding.
Piddly little cave and piddly little resources… Sigh. Thinking that after 5 tries, and spending ALL my gems I know this won’t be happening. Normally wouldn’t care but it’s CELTIC :'(
This drives me nuts when I come in here and read .. Got it my first.. Second.. Third try.. Or I got two already.. I have never ever got a dragon right away always takes me so many try’s.. Drives me crazy I’m on my 15th try with two diff combos going in two diff caves wtf!
It totally happened to me as well, but here’s what I did and it started working really good, leave it empty on your breeding islands for like 10 hours then try again with same combination , I guarteen you you will get it right away!!! I swear it works it worked for me every time when I did that! Good luck!

Can anyone confirm that it has to be a storm dragon and a hail dragon cannot be used as a substitution?
I hear you city_o_. I have never bred anything easy unless I wasn’t trying. Ended up with 4 suns trying for celtic. 4! That’s 346 hours of breeding and hatching time trying for a dragon that is only available for 4 days??? Like I said before, finally got one after 300 gems and 2 suns still incubating. If Dragonvale extends the breeding time past the March 18th cut off they announced I’m gonna be furious.
Got a Celtic on my second try with clover & storm (both level 15). I thought I’d get a second by breeding Celtic with leap year but the jokes on me – I got another rainbow instead (48hrs -ouch!) 🙁

It’s a sun dragon
Just got one using cactus and storm! 5 th try! I was beginning to get worried! GC: fyergirl. I keep a running list of those that gift back so no one is left out!
1st try (EBI): flower (left) storm (right) = no Celtic
2nd try (EBI): flower (left) storm (right) = no Celtic
3rd try (normal): flower (left) storm (right) = no Celtic
4th try (normal): flower (left) storm (right) = no Celtic
5th try (EBI): clover (left) storm (right) = Celtic dragon!!
6th try (normal): cactus (left) storm (right) = no Celtic
8th try (normal): cactus (left) storm (right) = 2nd Celtic dragon!

I just did a not so clever thing.. I was interested to see the results of breeding the Celtic dragon and the leap year dragon – thinking it must either be the Leap year dragon or the Celtic dragon.. No such luck I received a 48 breeding time! Best not to try this until Monday has past, now I have clogged up my breeding cave! Doh!

Somehow when I tapped the install button for the upgrade, it registered as uninstall. I just re-installed the app, and it had me sign in with FB, but it’s not loading! I was at lvl 24. Has this happened to anyone else? Will anything come back?!
Do you have the Game Center app by any chance, Apple products? If you log into Game Center it should bring your game back to where you left off.
Got on third try using flower ( left ) and sonic ( right ) ……….if you are already doing this keep trying because it will hopefully eventually work

Raaah! Twenty tries and no cigar! I have both breeding caves going and still nothing! Can some tell me why it isn’t working? I still have to get the aquamarine as well!
No luck with Flower + Storm, so I tried Cactus + Storm and got it on my first try on my EBI. Got a 48 hr dragon in my breeding cave with Clover + Storm.
I have 2 Celtic dragons as of now. I’m going to keep breeding them together to get more and more. If you don’t believe me check me out on gamecenter. $winner13$

Just got my second Celtic with flower+storm… Once in normal breeding cave and once on regular island not upgraded! Ha! Took like 6 tries to get my second one but got my first one on my first try! I also tried cactus+storm and clover +storm but had no luck… Hope this helps… Add me if u feel like it … Josiemd247
I’ve tried at least 20 times, am I the only one not getting the Celtic dragon?
I just got two in a row after about five tries on each breeding island! Clover and storm on the EBI and cactus and storm on the regular breeding island, both caves are upgraded. They never come that easy for me, especially when trying to get a second for my egg collection!
Finally got mine after about 10-15 tries! decided to use a fresh storm and flower(never bred before or just hatched) and i got it then. So happy! I’m also really happy i got my platinum dragon too although that was by accident but still so happppyyy!! 😀 😀 D 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

For some reason it seems like I have better luck at this type and gemstone dragons between 12:00 and 3:00 AM. I’ve been trying and trying for several days. Finally, back to back, I have 17 hrs. breeding time in both BC and on EBI. FINALLY!!! Was beginning to get a bit worried! Whew! Good luck everyone!

Got it on first try with Storm and Flower, both lvl 15. Got another on 3rd or 4th try, it’s in the incubator now and another going in the regular breeding cave 🙂 (6th or 7th try). The first two was in the EBI.
This combo really works!!
Now I’m only missing Platinum, it seems impossible to get 🙁
