Got mine with a cold and lightning…. I just can’t seem to get my hands on a storm dragon, all I get are hail dragons and now motleys.
I know how you feel… whenever I try to get lichen, I always get evergreen, and now reindeer.

I think I got Motley (13 hour breed time) with Blazing and Cold while trying for the seemingly millionth time to get Frostfire.
I got mine with fire and ice (no plant!) while trying to get blue fire for only the hundredth time or so.

I just wanted a Diamond, but no. I get a Motley dragon instead.

When is this dragon going? It’s a pain when breeding because it can show up with any breeding. Breed storm and plant for the bloom dragon and you will get a motley. Same breeding time as the bloom.
I got it (finally) with frost fire and light
i got MOLEY by breeding a rainbow dragon ( LVL 10 ) and a celtic dragon ( LVL 10 ) ! i didnt use plant or fire i used RAINBOW types!

It’s completely random. Sheer luck when I got it with a Light and Air dragons (I’m level 21.) It’s an April Fools dragon and it’s pure luck when you get it.
I found a super cost-effective way of breeding one.
At first I used up 18gems on frie and plant just to speed up the breeding and after more than 10failures, still couldn’t get one.
The ultimate way of breeding a motley is to use plant and plant. plant only takes 5s to hatch. u dun have to use gems at all! now im cursing myself for wasting 18gems. I got one after spamming for less than 5mins.
I got my third, surprisingly with cold and water…….
How the hell does a water dragon and a fire dragon equal a fucking motley dragon?!?!?! WTF!!!!
It is called the motley dragon for a reason! Motley= costume jesters wear= jester= funny= fooling around= April fools= tricking people! Get it now? It can be bred with any pair of dragons! (?_?;)

Impossible… I was breeding a mirage and light combo trying to get a light drift and so far ive gotten two motley dragons…. Motley is plant and fire???????
It is true. I’ve gotten Motley dragons from trying to breed epic dragons (e.g. Seasonal) It’s not the biggest chance, but it could work by breeding a dark with a dark

I don’t know how, but somehow I got a Motley dragon from and Ooze dragon and a Glass dragon. I my regular breeding cave. Right after they gave me a Geode dragon. Wut……..

I somehow got this dragon with lvl 11 Ice and lvl 11 Mine. I’m really confused to how I got it with that combo but I did.

I just put my breeded dragons in the nursery and got it with my Sea dragon, Mist, and my Earth dragon, Dusty.

This was actually the first dragon I ever got by breeding, after that I got pepper. It’s weird how I got those two rare dragons before I got flower and scorpion.
