Anybody? How do you send gems? I never get gems, so I can’t afford dragonsai. Or anything worth gems.:( wut do I do?

I have friends on Game Center that play dragonvale but I can’t figure out how to send them gems help please
You have to have friends. You go on friends bottom right of your screen and then your friend list comes up with 2 boxes, one for gift one to visit. Click on gift to give and hopefully they give back. Click on visit and you collect money from their islands which have ‘party hats’ over them. To get friends add on game centre. Hope this helps more than the previous comments!

There’s three ways to get gems – get 3 friends who gift daily, breed some gemstone dragons and you win them in the Colosseum – always match the dragon you put in there with the landscape that is in the Colosseum. I find that gets you gems each time. Save up the gems to buy the tree and get more friends. Then save up and get the breeding island.
First go to gamecenter and add friends!
You must have Game Center friends or Facebook friends in order to send gems.
Haven’t you noticed a pattern in the dragons required to breed gemstone dragons? Amethyst= hail & sonic (both are lightning types). Aquamarine= river & iceberg (both are water types). Diamond= ice & mine (both are ice types)

I was thinking ice and storm, I’ll try again for the next one since I started playing in February.
I tried it again and I got a platinum. That’s still good, but I want the diamond because it is my birthstone.
I breed mine on left and ice on right and i just says 1:05:59:00 wich is one Day 5 and 6 hours… Is that a diamond?!! 😀

Soooooo.. I’ve been breeding ice and mine all level 16 in EBI and EBC since yesterday. I just got a Motley Dragon. Very curious. Impossible??
No, I got it too. The motley dragon is like an April fool’s dragon, so you have a random chance of getting it with any combo

DAIMOND GEMSTONE DRAGON :)…thus far has been the easiest gemstone dragon I’ve had to breed…now i have all 12 plus an egg display …..maybe there listening to everyone’s complaints….two islands one in each cave bammmm 2 diamonds..I can’t believe it of course I speed breed it …they sooo pretty ..come and take a look at my island GAME CENTER…noelania..sorry no room for gem friends…I just like to look at other islands

Got my Diamond dragon with ice & mine but got 4 Silver dragons first when trying. Used both island and cave with the cave getting the diamond.

What he means is backflip studios started the gemstone dragons in May so if you’ve got them then there isn’t a need to breed them, but next month you’ll still be able to get the next gemstone!
i think the gem draogns will continue their cycle, but the diamond dragon is just the last new gem dragon

Ugh I have tried this a million times it seems keep getting ice, quicksilver, rust, steel, and so on its killing me. Any words of advice? Both my ice and mine dragons are level 15… I’ve tried in normal breeding cave and island …
